This place was once the exclusive, luxurious inn with many historical figures stayed. Not anymore. However, if you are looking for an authentic hot spring inn (Onsen Ryokan) experience, for a reasonable price, this is still a good option. I've been to Japan a handful of times, as a travel professional, journalist, and traveler. I had always wanted to experience the true and authentic Ryokan onsen, and I found it at the Imaiso!
