I was really happy to be here. I felt in love with it since the first time I seen its picture on trip advisor. Anyhow my over all stay was very good, but could have been better. Room was good, decent size with very good view. It's always good looking out of the window and face the ocean. Food was... More

We were looking for a genuine ryoKan experience so we booked this spot about 1.5 hr train south of Tokyo on he Izu peninsula. . After a train ride from Tokyo we were met by he hotels shuttle and 10 minutes later to the site. The view is spectacular overlooking the sea and the facility is stark is a Japanese... More

Our family comes here every year and it's always an experience for all of us. We have young children and there are enough things for them to do. The private bath is perfect so the whole family can go in together. Food is great too.

First particularity is reserved private bathes which have different tastes each, also the enjoyable view, strongly recommend to make reservation when you arrive there. There is another bath "Roten buro (open-air bath) at seashore, 3 min by foot, and you feel sea breeze and the sound of waves during bath time. Next one would be local seafood. It would be... More

Firstly, the view: the ocean view is again spectacular, and since there's no road in front, it's totally quiet, with a pathway along the ocean. Next, it's clearly a luxury ryokan, very small, with great details like the aromatherapy and soothing music you instantly notice when entering. And the lobby lounge view is just spectacular. One bad point is the... More

During my 6 day-solo trip in Japan, I gotta say that my stay with Bosui was the best one among all. Having been traveling quite frequently in Japan, I certainly had onsen experience. With ideas of what onsen is like in Japan, this stay was somewhat far beyond my expectation. Throughout my stay, friendly and supportive staff always strived to... More

Stayed for a weekend getaway with my mother. Upon entering the inn, you're ushered into the lobby area with an amazing view of the ocean and served a delicious drink made from a locally grown citrus fruit -- no standing in line at the front desk! It was a busy time of year for the staff, but their expert handling... More

Great hot spring resort , so relaxing ! breakfast and dinner was great BUT it would help if the staff can speak more English so we can understand what we were eating. Overall, this is the place if you need a relaxing holiday. There is absolutely no shopping around so be prepared to bring a book to relax and enjoy.... More

No place is better than Bosui in Izu, Shizuoka, two hours from Tokyo Station. The water is soooo good, we bath, not once, but twice a day. Our threapist gave us the best massage and treatment We ever have.
