Rooms are very small but that apparently common in Japan. The amenities in room are basic & the morning tea service in room was very rudimentary. Service is ok but they do not readily hv international quality power plug point in room

Nice hotel, great sea view and clean onsen (free) - but you will need to have a car to drive you around as most of the restaurants and grocery stores are quite far away. Rooms are like most jap hotels small and do note on yen1000/night fee for car park. Some readers complained about not having housekeeping services for their 2nd night, we didn’t have that problem, we just hung the”make up room” sign and our room was made up. Will definitely come back again as it’s clean and a lot cheaper those near Hakone.

Having stayed at a number of Prince hotels over time, these are Japanese versions of western hotels. This one features a great Spa facility next door - including a infinity hot pool on the third floor, sauna, hot tubs, wellness rooms, stone rooms etc. At ground level there is a dated water park (only open in summer when it is very busy). They also have a bowling alley etc onsite. The rooms are simply, clean and tidy. A bit more roomy than traditional Japanese business hotels as this is classed as a 'resort'. Restaurant food is good. We opted for a package which included Room, Spa access and dinner - all for under US$250 a night in the off season. Property was still busy as they host business conferences. The meal was surprisingly good with a buffet style salad and Entrée selection. The mains included a variety of steaks, beef, chicken, pork and seafood. We split a 700g Tomahawk steak, so good value overall. There is not much in the immediate area, so you will need a car to get to the attractions (30-40 minutes away). But overall a pleasant stay - the Spa was not busy so it was very relaxing.

It takes approx 3 hours to get to the hotel from Narita Airport. Hotel is pretty far from the railway station, so make a bus research before coming. From the hotel it takes ~5 min to Lawson ~15 min to ramen restaurant ~20 min to the park (green tea house is strongly recommended) ~25 min to supermarket ~40 min to Kamakura DREAM OCEAN VIEW FROM THE ROOM. Seriously, ocean view worth the money I paid for my stay. There are only few things better than having breakfast and viewing ocean. Spa and hot springs are awesome snd very relaxing. They are on two separate flours. Spa has an open pool with direct ocean view snd Fuji view, four types of sauna and etc. Hot springs water is salty and healing - all my small wounds, pimples and etc. disappeared in two days. I recommend the hotel if you're planning kind of lazy leasure and looking for quiet place to stay in. For all noise stuff it is necessary to go somewhere. Tip: try to wake up early, do you could see the sun rising. Open pool with ocean view is not very interesting after the sunsrt because the ocean is not visible in the darkness.

Stayed in Oiso Prince Hotel on the night of 6th November 2018. Overall rating is star 4. One drawback was airconditioning system which was on heater mode only. They explained that Japanese guests prefer only heater mode due to cold atmosphere outside. But we Indians prefer cooling system. Otherwise we feel suffocated. One solution they gave was to open the window slightly so that cool air will breeze inside and compensate the hot atmosphere in the room !!! Except this all other facilties were excellent.
