Good large open lounge area with large open window to see the whole Toya lake. The morning breakfast and dinner buffet choice are excellent. Onsen no doubt is great. The default is the room has some strange smell. Due to its popularity, loads of tourists stay in here. If you don't mind the tourists, this is a good choice to...

The lobby of the hotel has a magnificent view of the lake and the mountains. The onsen was modern and has a great view of the lake and mountains. It was probably one of the best onsen I have ever been. The room is a little bit dated but this is normal in Japan for Japanese styled room. It was...

Booked the Japanese Style Room for a night. The room rate is not cheap, probably due to the location as it overlooks the magnificent Lake Toya. You can get a great view of the Lake at their lounge on the ground floor. However, the condition of the room is dated which looked like it needed some refreshing. Given the price...

Our room faced the lake so we had the amazing view of the lake and the mountain with snow cap. What was also awesome was that we saw the view when we went to the sauna. It was amazing! We had the buffet for breakfast and lunch - it was good but nothing mind blowing. Also take a walk outside...

Impressive front lobby, not so impressive rooms. Stayed there one night with family, found the traditional tatami room that we were given pretty old & run down. However the rest of the facilities of the hotel are quite impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed the large, clean and modern onsen which had great view of the lake. The outdoor bath overlooking the lake and...

I can't believe this is the #1 hotel for this area. The best part of this hotel is lobby. Beyond that everything bad that's been said about this hotel is true. The rooms are poorly maintained. Don't even think about getting a family room. It is like the getting the old fat Elvis bad. For such a large hotel, the...

the hotel room and dining area offers a great view of Lake Toya. the onsen is clean and spacious and also has a good view of the lake. there is live performances at the hotel lobby and the fireworks is a big plus here. however, the room numbering system can be improved as it took us a while to locate...

My room rates inclusive of dinner and breakfast, both meals are buffet style with a wide variety. Think it's value for money. The swimming pools are great for kids. Rooms are a bit old although the lobby area looks new and modern. Think they should renovate the rooms and toilets.
