My we and I stayed here for four nights and found the traditional room spacious, Japanese breaky and dinner delicious and large and location top notch, just a very short walk from the yu road travelator. The onsens were also need nice, especially the large outside one. Staff very helpful too. However one major let down was that some aspects...

Extremely clean traditional Ryokan style hotel. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Just 5 minutes walk to the Yu road travellator which takes you up to the ski field walking past the temples. Beautiful start and end to the day. Back at the hotel The outside Onsen is bliss after a hard days skiing. Soaking away the aches while the snow...

We stayed in a western style room which was comfortable and clean. The rooms were serviced daily and the staff helpful if you needed any thing additional. We had either Japanese or western style breakfast included in our stay. Just be aware that western style breakfast is served cold i.e. eggs and ham/sausage/bacon were cold. The hotel had it's own...

Family of 4 (2A +2C,13 &17) stayed for 7 nights in a traditional tatami room. We sort of had 2 rooms with an enclosed sunroom all with sliding paper doors. We just fitted with 3 suitcases and snowboard bag. Traditionally the room is set up with a coffee/tea table and floor cushions. Each evening the staff laid our 4 futons...

As I understand it this is a Ryokan with a mix of traditional tatami style and western style rooms. We stayed in a Tatami room. Outside it was desperately cold but nice and toasty in the room. Wifi available in the room. The hotel did look a bit dated with some concrete walls but no issues functionaly The standout was...

Tomi and Kaori (query spelling?) are the most hospitable and helpful people one could ever meet. We stayed for three nights with our children aged 9, 11 and 12. Just some examples of the hospitality shown to us are: First after discovering that we only needed one large room for the 5 of us, but having booked two rooms, at...

The Hotel is conveniently located close to the Yu Road - or the escalator that takes you to the gondola. We stayed in a western room with private facilities, which means our own bathroom and toilet. The room had a spacious wardrobe and a extra space for our clothes. We have 2 single beds which were pushed together. Single beds...

Rooms a bit worn, a little taste, did not sleep well. Not very friendly front desk attendant, next time will not stay! Breakfast and dinner is good, very full to eat every night. Onsen is too crowded, you cannot enjoy! Wifi only provide in lobby.

This hotel is a traditional ryokan with western beds. Situated on a higher part of the mountain it has a great view of the town and of the mountain. It is pretty much a 5 min walk to the center of the town and to the Hikage lift. The room had two western style twin beds and a western bathroom....

Stayed here for two nights in Japanese style tatami room. Our room had a onsen bath tub on the balcony, which was great since we were traveling with a baby. However, the common onsen at the hotel is excellent! It was great to relax in the outside spa in a nicely landscaped garden after a days skiing. The room was...
