I have now had the pleasure of staying at Snowlines Lodge for four consecutive years, each one better than the last. Steve, Sarasa and team always go out of their way to make the stay an enjoyable one. Gracious Japanese culture fused with a warm Aussie smile is how I sum it up.

We enjoyed a fantastic week in Jan 2017 with Steve and Sarasa at Snowlines Lodge. Wonderful in-house Japanese meals, a lift to the slopes every morning, help with all travel and restaurant arrangements, all on top of a fantastic lodge. We loved the Onsen, and the two fireplaces and bar / lounge were great places to relax after a day...

This is the second time we have stayed at Snowlines. It's simply the best place to base yourself during a visit to Hakuba. The place has been improved since our last visit in 2012 with log fires in the communal areas, renovated rooms and a bus to take you to the nearby resorts. We stayed in a Japanese style room...

We had a fantastic stay at Snowlines and rate it as the best accomodation we have stayed at in Japan out of about 7 different places stayed in over two seperate ski trips. The accomodation is super comfortable, clean, modern and had excellent facilities. The staff had outstanding knowledge of the local ski areas and terrain which makes a big...

We enjoyed the 6 night stay at the Snowline Lodge. Steven and Sarasa were fantastic hosts and together with their crew made our stay a great experience. We got good advise on the best spots to ski and Steven used the lodge's own mini bus to drop us off in the morning. The lodge has a nice communal area with...

Stayed for a week over Xmas 2016 and I can't speak highly enough of the lodge, the owners and their staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they all went out of their way to help in any way they could. James the barista and barman makes the best moccas and cocktails! Sarasa, one of the owners, gives Japanese cooking...

We went here for a sushi making lesson and the hosts collected us from miles away, were genuinely friendly and made the whole session absolutely brilliant fun! When we were there we saw the accomodation and common areas which looked amazing, common living room with lovely sofas and a bar for adults, we will definitely stay here next time we...
