We have stayed at Balls Deep Inn multiple times over this year with the most recent being this August. We stayed 3 times as a ski holiday and just returned from a summer trip. Tony is a wonderful host, always accessible, and gave us some great tips. He goes above and beyond making each and every one of our trips memorable. The hospitality and small touches are exceptional. The use of a van and pick up from train station made our ski vacation very comfortable. The villas are clean and have their own kitchenette with all the necessities. We also highly recommend visiting during the off-season. The spring, autumn, and summer months are just as beautiful. There is a bbq area set up and ready to go which we used every evening. We look forward to staying there again in the winter!

Tony, the host, was great at helping us make the most of our stay in Hakuba. He gave us great places to eat, tips on which slopes were the best and where we can park, places to drink and have fun at night in Hakuba, and anything else we could think of. The place itself was great, with 4 beds upstairs, and enough closet space. The apple tv in the living room was a great touch and made our stay much more comfortable. On top of all that, having a rental car included was very convenient as we were able to enjoy Hakuba without limits. The complimentary candy and beer was also very appreciated. The Balls Deep Inn was a fantastic place to stay and I would absolutely come back.

We 3 people stayed in villa Z for 4 nights in February 2020. Before our flight, Tony has been on board to help us with all sort of questions we have had, quick response with correct information all the way till we checked out. Villa is cozy, bigger than photos (which is really rare). Villa is clean and tidy. With cooking gears,fridge capacity, you could easily store a week of food(or lots of beers lol) Tony gave us very detailed tour of restaurant/slopes/supermarket/gas station, even took one of us to advanced slop and practiced with him. Tony left room for us to explore Hakuba ourselves, but was always there when we needed his help. I have been working in hospitality industry over 15 years, We had an amazing time here, and I can guarantee you that you will have a great time at BDI like us, definitely will come back!…

We stayed in Villa 3 (1 bedroom villa) for 4 nights during a winter vacation to Hakuba. Tony picked us up from Hakuba station to speed up our arrival time and gave us a quick but effective tour of the surrounding areas before checking us in. Throughout the trip, we asked Tony for suggestions on where to go for snowboarding and his detailed suggestions were always a hit with the group. He also told us about a few delicious food places and an Onsen with a fantastic view. All these places were very easy to access thanks to the rental van that was included with the Villa rental. This may be the best vacation I have ever been on and it was in no small part due to the convenience of the BDI and Tony's skills as a host. This will be the first place I look to book on my next Hakuba trip as well.…

We loved our stay at Balls Deep Inn. The villa is located with stunning views over Iimori and Goryu resorts. The free car hire made our stay in Hakuba so easy and hassle free. The villas are equipped with everything you need and we enjoyed cooking a couple of meals during our stay. Tony was fantastic with communication both the lead up and during our stay. We have no hesitation in recommending BDI to anyone considering a visit to Hakuba. Thanks again Tony.
