Just had the most amazing few days staying at Eternal Flame. The hosts Nao and Kimmi delivered incredible service. They were fun, informative and helpful and Kimmi's cooking is superb. Had a hearty 3-4 course breakfast each day and dinner there one night which included her famous smoked roast pork dish which was the most delicious thing I've tasted for... More

This is the place to stay when you're in Hakuba! Kimmi and Nao are the greatest couple and are the owners of this lovely place. They work 24/7 to cater your every need! They provided us with discount lift passes, recommendations and reservations on the best places to eat dinner (tell them what you're after and they'll resommend a place... More

My husband and i went here for our honeymoon over Christmas. The hotel is amazing, the rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is absolutely lovely, breakfast was 4/5 courses and and excellent quality. It allowed you to be ready for your day skiing - we normally didnt need lunch as we were so full!! We... More

Booked this accommodation via email and having heard some less than great reviews of B&B accommodation in Japan arrived feeling a little unsure of how it would all go. Right from the initial phone call to be collected from the train station knew we had made a great decision. Nao, Kimmi and staff could not do enough to assist us.... More

This place is truly home away from home. Nao +Kimi work day and night to keep the place at its best and anything you need, they will organize for you straight away. Breakfast is great (each day you get something different) and each room has a dvd player. It is 1 minute away from the bus stop that connects takes... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Eternal Flame for a month during our 4-month snowboarding trip across the globe. The hosts, Nao and Kimi, were absolutely amazing. Both are so welcoming and Kimi is a superb cook. You must have one of their 5-course meals during your stay. The lounge area is a fab place to meet up with... More

If you want to experience excellent Japanese hospitality, look no further. Located amongst a group of pension and lodges run by foreign operators, Eternal Flame (which is actually called "Eternal Frame") offers value accommodation and excellent service. Rooms are extremely clean. Book this!

This place is amazing! The two hosts are the best part about this place; they were so friendly and welcoming. The lounge, bar, dining room and the rooms are brilliant. The lounge room is especially great, with a big lcd tv and fantastic sound, it’s great for watching some dvd's (provided) and TV (sumo!) or playing the Wii. The host,... More

This is one of the best pensions we have ever stayed in in terms of friendliness and service. The owners really can't do enough for you from picking us up from the train station to arranging gear hire and lift passes to providing information on the local area. The atmosphere in the living area is cosy and welcoming with a... More
