I was lucky enough to stay here in the middle of March at the end of winter after a big dump of Jpow! Great cosy place with super friendly staff. The owners are awesome and happy to talk or help with directions. No request was too much. They do pick ups and drop offs to the centre of town and ski lifts that weren't walking distance. Which is another point. The location is amazing! Only a short walk to the nearest lift. I was in a dorm on a bunk bed which was comfortable and warm. The storage spaces for all your ski gear included hanging spaces for clothing to dry out for the next awesome day out on the mountain. The attached bar is a hell of alot of fun! I thought I'd done everything till they brought out dildo racing!!! I had a great stay and I can't recommend them enough ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŽฟ๐Ÿ”๏ธ๐ŸŒจ๏ธโ„๏ธ๐Ÿ˜

Simply one of the best options to stay at in Hakuba. Super friendly and helpful staff, great food right at the restaurant next to the lodge and awesome facilities. The lounge area, lodge kitchen for guest use and onsen are all great. I stayed in one of the lux suites with my partner for a few nights and it really was superb. Will be back

Stayed at Penke Panke lodge in March. The lodge has everything you need. Amazing staff, awesome atmosphere. First time in Hakuba and couldnโ€™t have stayed at a better place. They really made an effort to make sure I had everything I needed for my stay, ski fields and were so helpful answering all my inquiries about the area. Highly recommend making the lodge your place to stay when visiting Hakuba. I canโ€™t wait to visit next year!

Penke Panke lodge is THE place to stay at Happo-One. Room price is great value for money and the all you can eat breakfast is a delicious cooked, chef prepared meal. My boots and skis were fitted with such care and attention to detail from the tech team, and the girls on the front desk were so helpful with information about weather and trail conditions. The whole crew were so friendly and welcoming as were other guests, and as a single traveller I really appreciated the camaraderie. The single room is very close to the lounge and so can be a bit noisy but silicone ear plugs sorted that, no dramas. Having a kitchen to cook in and a shuttle run from the lodge to the supermarket means you can keep the meal costs down. The lodge has its own bar a few steps away and is a short walk from the Sakka quad chair. What more could you ask for? I'll be coming back.

I was there for just a weekend but the lodge had it all. Full of good people. Great service, pick up and drop off, ski hire, Penke panke bar next door and the nearest lift Sakka 3 a short walk away. After a hard days skiing they dropped us off at the Onsen of our choice. A great end to the day. What a stay ! Highly recommended.
