Returning to the little hotel in the forest was a real joy....it was snowing pretty hard ...went last year and I'm so happy I went again this year, what a tremendous improvement. The room making wasn't available every day last year, the food was very, very good compare from last year, staff, some of them spoke good English and all...

There is nice forest therapy base nearby, you can enjoy walking along stream for fresh air. The room is clean and onsen is also good. The view from the restaurant is nice, you can spot wildlife in the yard if you are lucky. Seasonal guided tour is available to experience natural beauty and I'm really looking forward to joining the...

made trip to north of hokkaido with friends. The rooms are very clean and large , the breakfast was good, the outdoor onsen fantastic sitting neck deep in hot water while snowing....dinner need improvement never the less i will go again next year really had good time , very relaxing , deep in the forest and i love that...

This small establishment is located deep in the forrest at the end of a very twisty road. We were greeted by a delightful young lady who had spent time in Canada and was able to introduce us to the inn with quite good English. They also provided an Engish written explanation. Unique setting, far and deep into the forest. Nice outdoor onsen. Cosy, welcoming lobby of western cottage style. Everything is very creatively woody. Spacious bedroom with modern shower facilities. Very clean and tidy. However, it is a long drive to arrive at the ryokan, so be prepared to give sufficient time to travel. Otherwise, if the sky turns dark, one...

Lamp no Yado Moritsubetsu is a good place for escaping from urban. It is located in a deep forest of about 1 hr drive from Abashiri-gun city center. You will not about to find any buildings around the hotel, all is just river and tree. The hotel is sitting in the center of a pine tree forest near a river...
