Auberge Adagio in Biei-Hokkaido is a very nice small first class boutique style Inn. We received very personal service and dinner and breakfast were superb. It is a country style place in a very quiet setting.

We stayed one night in this B&B and it felt very homely. We drove in from Asahikawa and we had no problems finding the place due to the B&B sharing the mapcode with us.The property had a very European forest feel to it, sort of tucked in behind the trees and beyond it is surrounded by the picturesque Patchwork Road... This is a picturesque cottage as mentioned by all reviewers. My family of 5 (including an elderly, 1 teenager and 1 child) simply love this place at first sight. We missed our flight from Tokyo and reached this place around 8pm and nearly missed the dinner time. The staff were kind enough to reserve food for us and made us... More

The Adagio has 3 branches, 2 in Taiwan and one in Hokkaido. It is owned by a Taiwanese boss, so the staff are well - trained and speak both Mandarin and Japanese. We were welcomed by a team of cheerful staff when we arrived just in time for the dinner. The rooms are big and clean (compared with the local... More

Auberge Adagio is a very relaxing country inn. The set-up is cute - with teddy bears and they take a picture of you when you arrive to put at your doorway (inside). Probably geared towards couples but there were families and singles staying there as well on my visit. The view is spectacular - of adjacent farmland and farm houses.... More

OK - I will not rave but we stayed at 4 hotels/ inns in Hokkaido with our 2 girls, mother in law and sister in law (group of 6), and this place was our favourite. The Adagio has 2 other sister inns in Taiwan and is owned by a taiwanese boss, hence, the fact that the staff are well -... More

After last summer's pleasant stay, decided to return with my spouse. We book very early this year. Don't expect full service like a hotel, yet staff has done extra miles for guests as I observed. Location: following the mapcode we drove to this quaint and cozy pension after a few wrong turns. Pension could shuttle guests one round trip a... More

We've passed the hostel like 2 years ago, looked cute and pretty impressed then. So I planned to stay there for one night, it was a great choice. Quiet and surrounded by farms, Adagio gave us a very warm welcome and served the dinner coz our late arrive. The meal was impressed by the vision impacts, but the true taste... More

We ware surprised and touched by the great view, the small details, the delicious food and the service....... The breakfast and the dinner are included. There is one SPA room, and it's great for couple to spend time together with the nice view........We feel the time slowing down and really enjoyed. Highly recommended!
