We went for a family supper for 8 people. Excellent service and every meal declared delicious. Best of all the price! The location is unbeatable provided you haven't had to do battle on the road down to the bay or in the car park. Luckily we were staying in Llangranog.

We had a superb room (Glasfor) with views out to the bay (including a passing dolphin one morning) and across the village. The room was nicely furnished and decorated with a good ensuite shower room. The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere very chilled, despite it being peak season, with a nice mix of visitors and locals. We... More

Having recently been talked into reviewing The Ship Inn - the other pub in Llangrannog, I think it's only right and proper that I add some words about the Pentre. This is a truly great pub. OK ! this is where I come on holiday every year and generally I'm in a fairly good mood, even when the rain is... More

Room 1, with a great view over the beach. Great location with all you need close by, pub downstairs, with bar, breakfast room, dining room. Well stocked bar, very busy book well in advance. Highly recommended.

We arrived, exhausted, after a day carrying heavy rucksacks walking the Ceredigion coastal path. From the moment we arrived everyone was really friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable (Gwylan), Tristan and all the other staff could not do enough for us. Breakfast was the best of our trip - the butter-fried mushrooms and fried bread... More

Spent three nights here last week. I visited last September with my brothers-in-law, and returned with my wife. We were warmly welcomed, and both my wife & I were impressed with the standard of our accommodation. The setting of the Hotel is superb, situated across the road from Llangrannog's beautiful beach. We dined in the restaurant on two nights and... More

A group of us went for a family meal, and tho the service was fast the food was very mediocre. The steak pie was really good but let down by frozen chips and frozen peas - for £10 I would have expected some fresh veg. We were a largish party and all of us were underwhelmed by the food.

Visited the Pentre Arms twice recently for lunch and dinner. Located in the attractive village of Llangrannog yards from the beach, the Pentre offers great home-cooked food and very generous portions for those with a big appetite. There is a varied menu offering traditional fare and also a daily specials board with a variety of fish dishes. Staff were very... More

Found this cove on a costal walk so decided to have a drink which ed turned into lunch. Homemade pies fantastic, good portions and reasonable prices. Would definitely go again . This is a bit off the beaten track but worth seeking out.
