Large group of us - dinner and overnight stay. Comfortable and spacious room on the 3rd floor of the main house (6 flights of stairs, sadly no lift - but understandable such is the age of the building). We weren't originally going to stay at this hotel, but the place we booked with made a mistake with the booking and so arranged for us to stay here instead. We're very pleased they did! The setting for the hotel is fantastic; beautiful ground and some interesting history behind it. It is fairly quiet (except for the church bell) and...

The staff was very friendly though not all of them were so good with English but it was possible to be understood. Breakfast: was nice, with the choice between several options. Bathroom was roomy with bathtub (always a plus) -...

Stayed here for a meeting. Rooms are very modern, with clean bathrooms. Unique room/building key system. Cost was much lower than in Zurich. Positives: Quiet (except for the church bell); very convenient to the PSI Institute and the Nuclear Power Plant; bus stop from Brugg right at the Schloss entrance. Fast and free internet. Free breakfast and very nice grounds....

The rooms are not particularly spacious or luxerious but adequate and situated in lovely surroundings. The staff is very friendly- almost everyone called our young daughter by her name. The food was also very good.
