Went for a couple of days of after ski drinks with the family. Antonin served us (6 adults and 2 kids) both times - best barman ever - great cocktails recommendations, service and always with a smile! Will return every time we come here to Les Arc. Thank you Antonin!
The hotel is in a great location, ski in and ski out and the ski shop and boot room staff are amazing. The staff in the hotel were also good. All sounds perfect until you use the restaurant. The dinner and breakfast were very poor quality, very bland food. In addition the staff were inexperienced and very un professional for a 5 star hotel. Wouldn't put you off staying there but don't go half board would be my suggestion.
Ski in ski out. We had a duplex room, only one toilet downstairs, no toilet in bathroom which was a little annoying. Half board food was limited choice (but I’m quite fussy) service was slow at times.
Excellent hotel with fantastic restaurant with interesting local wines. The service was excellent and the location cannot be better. We also appreciated the Ski shop where we got good advice and help with our skis.
Brilliant hotel right on the slopes. All the staff were so helpful during our whole stay. In the ski shop our boots and shoes were ready as soon as we arrived. The front desk took care of all of our restaurant needs. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel and spa.
Overall a good hotel but with pros and cons: Pros: superb location with ski-in and ski-out, with good storage facilities for ski equipment. Fantastic views from the room. Facilities are excellent and include heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The staff were good and helpful. Cons: we were disappointed by the food in terms of selection. The room is fitted with a sensor light at the entrance which goes on everytime you go to the toilet which is separate from the bathroom. So, if you need to visit the loo during the night, you will wake up whoever sharing the room with you. The cafe certainly was not anything close to 5 stars! Service was slow and we had to ask for simple thing like salt and pepper, and condiments.
Having tried to break myself skiing I needed some comfort and service. The Taj fitted the bill. Incredible room comfort and polite attentive staff. I cannot recommend the hotel too highly. It’s not cheap but its worth every penny - treat yourself….
Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff and terrific service. True ski-in/out in a great location in the centre of the resort. The food, wine & cocktails were all great too. All of the staff, from front-desk to the ski shop were super-friendly and helpful.
Some things to like - great location, great views, rooms fairly comfortable, great bar and ski shop. Staff are friendly. But it’s not a 5-star hotel, at least not anymore. And the restaurant is a disaster.
3 star experience for 5 star prices and rating. We came here 3 years ago and even then it slightly missed the mark but the place has gone way downhill since then. Rooms are relatively comfortable with great views but cleaning service is patchy. Restaurant is a chaotic and disorganised mess with long waits for food and you’ll as 3 times before you get anything. The ski shop is great and the cocktails, at least, are top notch. They have no real competition in the area so I just think they think they can get away with it. Totally get that the last 2 years have been tough but since returning to travelling I’ve seen most top end places have found ways to get their act together. But not here… sadly
