Good value for the price! The owner left me a note on the door as I arrived quite late, literally just to sleep, wake up early and leave. He told us here were no female guests on the hotel so let us use the female onsen privately which was a very nice gesture. He gave us a room bigger that... More

The place has an old rustic charm with a really good onsen and a witty charming and funny owner who drives you to and from the station and to the monkey park for no extra cost. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay again next time I visit Yudenaka.

I stayed here for two nights in the middle of June with my two brothers. During this time the village is quiet with only locals and the occasional Japanese tourist. The hotel was perfect because it was affordable and had nice traditional Japanese rooms. But the host is the best part, he speaks excellent English and is in general a... More

I am so conflicted about this review! On the hospitality and service - 5+! On the facilities, ugh, about 2.5. OK, here's the deal. Let's start with the service. The owner Heday-san is as charming as an innkeeper comes - and his trusty sidekick who prepares the meals and cleans the rooms has his own charms. They go so out... More

The hospitality of Heday-San was the hospitality of our stay at Boazanso. Heday-San picked us from the train station and also took us next morning to snow monkey park m, before dropping us back to the train station. While the hotel is slightly dated, the facilities such as toilets are clean and functional, with in house onsen. Would recommend Bozanso... More

My partner and I stayed at Bozanso for 2 nights in April 2015 and we had the most relaxing and comfortable stay. We would come back again any time. Contrary to what the outside looks like (a small to medium sized motel) Bozanso is anything but your regular motel. Bozanso is more like the extension of the owners family home.... More

My family and I (6 of us) stayed here during winter, for a visit to the Jigokudani Monkey Park.
