Wow travelled up from Yorkshire, Tea and biscuits and a chat with our hosts Eileen and Bill then off to our room. Good spacious room with a four poster bed and the en-suite was brilliant, Jacuzzi and separate deluxe shower. The Old Stables is located down a private drive ensuring a peaceful and quiet location but within easy reach (150...

Thank you for taking time to add this lovely review. Happy to know you found the four poster bed to your liking. (Pity the weather wasn't warm enough to open the door and sit in the garden!) Maybe next time? Good to know you enjoyed your stay in Scotland and your trip was a success. I trust you realise you...

A lovely greeting from both Eileen and Bill. Met with a smile and come away in. Straight away a cup of tea and biscuits before they even showed us our room, which was superb. Breakfast was equally as good and we set off on our last days walk with a very full belly.

Thank you for being so kind. It's lovely that guests appreciate the spacious bathroom with large shower cubicle and spa bath. I'm very pleased you enjoyed one of our wonderful restaurants within walking distance of Old Stables. On a clear night there's a lovely view over the Strathmore Valley. Stayed for 5 nights while playing golf in Perthshire. Eileen makes you feel very welcome from the minute you arrive until it's time to leave. Room comfortable, spotless bathroom (clean towels every day) and excellent breakfasts every morning. Bill also dried off my golf gear following one very wet day. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Delighted to hear that all was to your satisfaction since i'm hoping to see you both here again, maybe even with the family? The aim is to make guests as comfortable and welcome as possible so if we managed that we've succeeded. The idea being that although you may never even have heard of Alyth before you arrive, you will...

We had an excellent stay in Eileen and Bill's B&B. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom with whirlpool is most pleasant after a long walking day. In the morning Eileen likes to indulge her guests with her home made marmelades, fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereals, toasts, cheese, eggs...and she even prepared a delicious, vegetarian lunchbox for us. You feel...

Good to know that everything was to your satisfaction. It was a pleasure meeting you both. (I hope you enjoyed my choice of sandwiches.) The Cateran Trail is proving to be very popular so maybe you can walk it again with your friends from home? I always try to accommodate walkers in a room with a spa bath, since I...
