Lovely food, prompt service and friendly staff. Kids portions were generous and the adults meals were well sized and priced. the menu was pretty extensive too so we had lots of options. They also catered well for allergies

We arrived on 16th September oblivious of what had happened imagine our dismay when we saw skips and notices in the window stating that food can't be served because of the flood. Not to be deterred we went in and found the owner he explained that he had contacted all his guest but was unable find our details. Having travelled... More

We received a warm welcome on arrival and enjoyed a lovely evening meal. Our room was comfortable with an excellent shower and tea and coffee facilities. A great breakfast the next morning sent us happily on our way

Originally saw this Hotel on an internet deal. Phoned to check specific dates and booked directly with them for two nights. From start to finish it was trouble free even when we had to change dates a couple of weeks before travelling. On arrival the Manager was very welcoming and throughout our stay he was always very pleasant and eager... More

My friend and I went to this hotel on 16/7/15 intending to stay for 2 nights in order to visit The Open golf at St.Andrews. On arrival we found the hotel to be very good, clean fresh rooms, helpful staff, good food menu and a comfortable bar. David and his staff were excellent. We enjoyed a lovely, filling meal in the... The hotel is set in a picturesque village, in a central and very pretty spot. It's not a modern, luxury hotel, but for us that was its charm. The staff is, without exception, friendly, helpful and interested. Comfortable room, excellent food, and enough to eat at breakfast that you hardly needed anything more until dinner - which was also very,... More

Rooms clean and decent shower. Food was good at dinner and breakfast. But the smiling service of all the staff made it really enjoyable. Well done to owners and managers. Especially the man who let me and my mates in the front door at 1am on Saturday night!

Stayed at the hotel as a base to do some hill walking. Friendly and professional staff and relaxing stay. Lovely meal in the restaurant, better than expected. Comfy bed and happily accepted our dogs. Highly recommend

Over night stay for 8 of us. Very friendly atmosphere and excellent pub style food. Breakfast was above average for 3 star hotel. Rooms clean and spacious. Bar was well stocked and not too expensive. Would definitely use again for golf outing. Better wifi than many 5 star hotels and it's free!

Had a bit of a nightmare on Monday with my house being flooded but already had this booked for Tues. As it was not looking too realistic . I gave the hotel a call and spoke with one of the most accommodating hoteliers that I have come across (I have been in this business previously) He was amazing and agreed... More
