The hotel very kindly let my elderly mother & I who were caught short traipse in & use their (spotless!) hotel toilets. We weren't guests and didn't even have time to have a meal there but they were friendly and welcoming. Nice people and if they show that kindness to non-customers I'm sure they are equally hospitable to paying guests!... More

We had a very large room overlooking the river. It was warm comfortable and the bed was great. Had every facility we needed, but wi-fi not that brilliant in room. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Both the evening meal and breakfast. They are trying very hard to bring the decor up to date, after being flooded... More

Stopped at Alyth Hotel for Sunday lunch today. We were welcomed by a very friendly host who showed us to our table, in pleasant surroundings, and served us attentively during our meal. We both ordered drinks and the roast belly of pork. I can only say it was excellent. Overall, a first class experience at a very reasonable cost.

We have visited the restaurant within the hotel several times since it has been renovated since Alyths terrible flood and we are never disappointed. Style is still somewhat old fashioned but food is always lovely and fresh. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Had an evening meal here which was superb. On entering the hotel, we were greeted by the manager and a waitress, who showed us to our table. The manager and his staff were courtious, helpfull and very efficient. We were so pleased with our experience that, we went back a couple of evenings later, for another meal. Top marks all... More

Called here 3 times this week for evening meals and was not disappointed once. Great food, very freindly service and good size portions. Can highly recommend a visit. If we stayed in the area longer we would certainly have used again.

Thank Mike M
