Brilliant place, and an amazing stay. Friendly staff from the moment you get there, till departure day. It is homely. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Needles, and would recommend it to any person that’s thinking about a stay in Marloth Park.

Property's Favorite Review
This is one of the friendliest places we've stayed at - the owner is onsite and really cares about his guests. We had some dietary restrictions and they went out of their way to accommodate us. They also arrange game drives etc in advance - this is not something to leave until the last minute. We came in January which is not optimal for seeing game but we still saw all the big 5 and saw them up close. The facility itself is great for unwinding or to have a gin+tonic at the end of the day. Another advantage to this lodge is that it is not so big and so you really get personal attention and don't get lost in the shuffle of 50-60 people as happens at some of the other lodges. We met great people there too, and some were repeat customers.

Myself and some friends recently stayed at Needles Lodge, between us we've stayed many times at this stunning location. Nestled in the bush at Marloth Park it's a perfect and tranquil setting for a relaxing break whilst exploring the Kruger Park and surrounding areas. The Lodge is stunning and the hospitality exceptional. In the early morning and evening some game even comes to visit the Lodge making the experience even more authentic. On the first day and on a game drive in the Kruger Park we had wonderful close encounters included sightings off the 'Big Five'. We were also lucky enough the do a guided-walk in the Park which the Needles team arranged. I can't wait to get back :)

We came across Needles by chance while making a last minute decision to take a vacation in December. What a magnificent base for exploring Kruger. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome, all the staff were incredibly friendly and Dennis, Gail and Colin were wonderful to sit and chat to. They went out of their way to accommodate my very fussy daughter with her meals which is always an issue for us when travelling. What a wonderful place to return to after a long day in the park. As regular visitors to Kruger we will definitely be returning! Michelle, Bruno and Tyla
