I'll start by saying that there are limited motel options in the area and this motel was clean and served it's purpose, which was just a place to lay our heads after a long day. I would just advise anyone to check your reservations if you require air conditioning (we were there during an especially warm August). We had a "Double Room with Garden View", which was actually a tiny room with a double bed in a long, prefabricated building up the hill from the main motel. Some of those rooms appeared to have AC but at least six, by our count, do not. That would be rooms 57-62 if I have the room numbers right. Nights were cool but there were no windows - just the entry door and a sliding glass door that opened to a long common deck. So we couldn't get any crosswind through the room and I didn't feel comfortable leaving the doors standing open while we slept. They do provide fans, which definitely made it bearable. The wifi did not work well at all in our room. For those who are concerned about such things, there were no deadbolts on the doors. On the positives, the view of the river from the deck is what saves the place. At night when it cooled down it was fantastic sitting outside watching the boats go by. We loved that. You can see the ferry coming and going too, although you cannot see the dock. As I mentioned in the beginning, the room was very clean and maid staff was friendly. No coffee machine in the room but you can get cups of hot (possibly instant?) coffee in the morning at the office.

It started with an awesome service and warm welcome from the front desk. And then when we went to our room (we just rent 4 rooms (1 double bed and 3 queens) and all of us are just "wow! Does you room is big and luxurious too? Is your bathroom enormous and oh oh, do you have also a large patio in the back? And do you have leather sofa and really comfy bed?" We all got awesome rooms :) the double bed room is amazing with their little living room area. Thank you very much for those beautiful rooms, it's clean, big, perfectly suits our needs and so nice we want to stay here for an extra day :)

Well the hotel was over priced even for the labour day weekend. Room was clean and the bed was okay, however there was no airconditioner, the WiFi didn't work in our room, the tv didn't work, the hair dryer didn't work. There was a small fan but that wasn't enough to keep it cool when sleeping. Probably worst two nights sleep I've had in years at an outrageous price considering it was basically a closet. Not impressed but I guess that's what I get for booking so late on a holiday weekend.

We stopped in Saint-Simeon just because it was close to the ferry for the next morning, but it turned out to be a delightful place to spend some time. Ferry terminal is literally across the road, and restaurants are very close by, and they were excellent. Checkin was easy and friendly, room was clean and bright and very nice, with a balcony that offered a fantastic view over the St. Lawrence. Pool and hot tub were great. And we saw whales from the shore! Terrific value.

This motel is ideally situated directly above the ferry landing, allowing for spectacular views of the St. Lawrence and the ferries arriving and departing. Our one-night stay was comfortable in an updated freshly-painted room with a new bathroom. The little deck allowed for an expansive view out to the beach and the St. Lawrence but our time to enjoy it was limited due to dense fog on the evening of our arrival. We did manage a brief glimpse from the deck in the morning once the fog had cleared. It’s obvious that many improvements are being made at this establishment. In such a scenic location guests would appreciate being able to make a cup of coffee or tea while lingering on the deck.
