Unfortunately our trip to New Caledonia was soured by the theft of some valuable property from our locked room at the Hotel Tieti. There was no sign of forced entry. The hotel managed who contacted us some days later has suggested that we left the door unlocked, however, we are

Dear Guest, I exchanged emails with you, and once more, I'm very sorry for what happened. But that does not allow you to hide a part of the truth. I sent you the event report of the front door, and it appears that this main door was not closed properly. You accused the staff of coming into your unit, and it was not real (the report proved it too). So, it would not be attributable to Tieti. This kind of accusation is a lack of respect, it seems to me. Above all, it was as well a safe to secure your belongings, and a top latch that secure for good the big windows, this is the reason why, anyone cannot open it from the outside. Once again, I am sorry for this theft, but we have no responsibility, and that is the conclusion of the local gendarmerie, too. Regards

Wow! Just what I needed! Off the grid, paradise & the only 4 days of sun whilst staying here on the whole trip of 9 days in NC. Torrential rain made for a rather hairy drive up from Noumea & some flooding 15 minutes from the hotel added adventure, well looked after by locals on

Dear Folks, That was a complete privilege to welcome both of you at Le Tieti. For sure, I will do not forget you for a long, long time. It was nice. We did simply our duty, this only matters finally. And I would do it again and again for you two. Hoping to see you ... here ... or in Melbourne :-) Mind yourself.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was a beautiful relaxing place. The rooms are right next to the beach, an ocean apartment would have been better (they were booked out) but we could still see the ocean, nice meals and shops nearby to eat and buy food. Just a lovely place to stay

Dear Sharport67, This is the goal when you travel far, to find a relaxing place ... and glad to read that you found it staying at Le Tieti. The most important is there. Nevermind the fact you had a standard room, will remain this feeling. Thank you for your coming. All the best

So nice to hear the waves calmly crash against the shore, the lovely, lovely staff who truth be told don’t have a lot of English. However, shame on you coming to NC without a little bit of French. We opted out of the buffet breakfast but had one of our better value and nicest

We stayed at Hotel Tieti for 5 days and had a lot of ups and downs. To start with the good things: The staff were always friendly. The location is on a beautiful section of a beach. The hotel grounds are spectacular. The New Year's buffet and party were very enjoyable. Now

Hi Harry, Thank you for the feed back, and I will bring to the attention of anyone some answers : 1) I admit, that in Caledonia some stuffs are over priced, and I do not understand the reason why things cost so much (taxes are importants indeed) 2) For the food, I desagree, fruits are fresh, no doubt about it, and for our buffets we are using as well fresh products from the lagoon - fish - smoked directly in the kitchen for example. 3) Regardin the room key, we have trouble, and that is why I will go back to install old keys instead of magnetic cards. Thank you again for your coming, and we do hope to see you again All the best
