This was our second vista, but will not be our last. We spent 5 days here on a golf package and played 2 rounds at Rossapenna's Sandy Hills (as good a links course as any in Ireland), a round at Ballyliffin's Glashedy Course, and one at Rossapenna’s Old Tom course. Frank Casey and all his staff really have the hospitality... More

Visited as a family at end July/early August. Busy area and the hotel seemed full. We received great personal service with exceptional attention to detail. One staff member in the bar even allowed our youngest to borrow his phone charger.... Now that is service!!!

Had a recent 2 day break in Rosapenna at this hotel with a couple who have been going there since 1981. I can see why - beautiful loughview room and fabulous food which I would describe as old-style Irish with modern twists and plenty of it.You must try the scallops, when in season, as they are delicious and all 4... Well we booked in here for a Sunday lunch and I'll tell you if you ever want to feel like royalty this is the place to go. The staff are the best professional trained staff I've seen in awhile and the place was packed so everyone had to be on their A-game. Anyway menu had so much choice for starter... More

We have just returned from a two night stay at this traditional but extremely old fashioned hotel. We felt that the hotel lacked character personality and ambience. We were particularly disappointed that there appeared to be no management presence interacting with the guests in particulat at the reception desk and in the restaurant. The dining room had no atmosphere and... More

The hotel was really lovely, rooms were spotless and stacks of room. The bathroom was also huge. From the room we had a stunning view over the bay and we watched a Wind Surf Comp. Perfect relaxing getaway. The breakfasts were first class and we had real silverware which was a treat. The ladies serving the food couldn't not have... More

Lovely olde fashioned resort hotel centered around a very popular golf course. The restaurant is nicely old fashioned excellent service and wonderful food. The ambience smacks of a bygone era. After the meal a band starts up while couples sit around in large arm chairs sipping after dinner drinks. Lots of locals.

We were a party of 19 visiting Rosapenna to play Old Tom Morris. We received a great welcome, including 2doz balls for prizes on the day. The course was a true test of links golf and the watching the dolphins in the bay was a great bonus. The view from the club house of the 18th was stunning. We ate... More

Stayed here 3 nights and played 3 rounds of golf all as a package deal. We were upgraded to a suite, the room was huge and so was the bathroom. Had to have been recently renovated for it had a very clean and modern feel. Golf courses are in great shape, all 3 are links type courses....what you would expect... More
