I have been travelling for many years in the Cyclades Island and this has been by far the worst accommodation I have experienced in so many years. Let me explain why. What is a prerequisite of any hotel that wants to provide a good service and be respectful of its guests? A comfortable bed! This is the basic, then we can talk about all the rest. The bed at Zoe rooms are very uncomfortable: the bed is short (175 cm see picture)and the mattress is old and uncomfortable and we couldn’t literally sleep. We asked to leave after the first night but the told us that they would have charged 3 nights anyway so we were obliged to stay. This is very unfair and un respectful for the guests. If you think that we were charged more than 180€ per night then you can understand why this is a shame. Shame also on booking.com to advertise such a low quality hostel with a misleading marketing and pictures. I have raised an official complain with booking.com and for sure will report this to the Hotel Association in Greece so that other guests will not be affected by such a misleading offer. I suggest Zoe’s rooms to buy a regular bed and mattress from Ikea ( should cost around 100€ per bed) in Athens and to price their rooms as a 1 star hotel I.e between 50€ and 70€ per night. This is defined a STRONG NO GO and I do not recommend anybody to sleep in this hostel.

We stayed at villa Zoe for 6 nights and couldn't be happier. Although it was already 10pm when we arrived Giota welcomed us and showed us around. As a small gift some fruits and a small bottle of wine were prepared in our room. Anytime we had any questions, she was happy to help us and to organize our stay in Milos. She booked a Quad and an incredible sailing boat trip for us, we just needed to tell her what we wanted! The breakfast was served at a small restaurant around the corner. The best things about it were the freshly pressed orange juice and a great variety of cereals. But also cakes, eggs, vegetables, melon and croissants were served. All in all we can really recommend staying at Villa Zoe in Milos, we had an amazing time there.

The room was nice, it had all the essentials and a nice view of the ocean. Breakfast was great and the restaurant serves nice meals for dinner, too. The best thing was the hospitality and how well we were looked after by Georgia and the staff. Thanks for having us!

During our six day long stay at Mílos in July 2019, we stayed at Zoe’s. Mílos is a wonderful island bringing memories back to the lovely days - before mass tourism invaded the larger Greek islands. And Zoe’s, being a family owned hotel, delivered exactly on this premise with all the charm and service, you can ask for. The room was nice and large with a fine terrace, from which we could enjoy the beautiful sunset. The surroundings were nice and quiet, very close to the sea. Breakfast offered a very good selection of delicious dishes including fresh orange juice and local specialities. Zoe’s breakfast kitchen also hosted a small restaurant situated at the beach 50 meters from the hotel. You should treat yourself to go there after sunset and enjoy the intimate atmosphere of an island taverna, providing you with the experience you got back then when tourism was simple and genuine.
