One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The location is perfect -- a short walk to town, but tucked away to feel private, and with some of the best views on the island, particularly in the Sarakiniko room. The staff was so excellent and friendly and helpful and I felt genuinely welcomed. The room is perfectly set-up-- the bathroom is far enough from the bed, there is a little luggage room that is perfect for dressing and keeping the rest of the room organized, the lighting is great, and the doors to the balcony let in a nice breeze. We stayed 4 nights and I wish it had been longer.

We stayed for five nights at Salt and could not have been happier. Communication before we arrived with Starvos and Zoe was prompt and very helpful. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The daily breakfast delivered to our room of seasonal fruit, amazing yoghurt and honey and fresh bread (eggs can be ordered if you wish) was a perfect start to the day.
It is an easy walk into the local village of Pollonia where there are lots of restaurants to choose from, we rented a car for our stay (which Salt organised for us beforehand). All staff could not have been more helpful.
Views of the sunset from the front deck are fabulous and location is great.
Salt provides pick up and return from ferry arrival at the port or the airport.
There was not one thing I could fault in this accommodation.
Highly recommend Salt Suites to anyone visiting Milos, you will not be disappointed.

On the edge of Pollonia town, insane views, perfect design for typical greek village house ( shower is so stylish), good quality of cosmetics, Perfect breakfast bring by calm Staff to the room- so tasty pastries, greek yogurt, omlette and greek coffee. Thanks to friendly Zoe and hotel gray cat :) Perfect place to relax after sailing around island. For dinner recommend De Milos, Armenaki and Enalion.

Spent 4 days at Salt Suites and absolutely loved it! The room was huge, the daily breakfast (delivered to your room) was delicious and the front patio overlooking the sea was a dream. It is also just a ten minute walk to Pollonia, where there’s a lovely beach and several restaurants.

Milos is a dream - be sure to visit Sarakiniko beach (lunar landscape with electric blue waters) and Kleftiko (pirate caves).

Highly, highly recommend!

I just loved everything about Salt.
Perhaps the most chilled out place I have ever stayed with incredible views hospitable service and wonderful, spacious , extraordinarily clean accommodations on this gem of an island.
We were in the honeymoon suite with a private jacuzzi and well appointed deck overlooking the Aegean Sea and it was simply romantic and wonderful.
Stavros and his staff are amazing, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Their energy is amazing and contagious.
The most perfect spot for a honeymoon or to just simply rekindle the flames of romance.
The island is a quite paradise.
I enthusiastically recommend a sailing trip around the island for a day which was the highlight of a three week vacation.
Stavros handled it all for us.
I will definitely be back and very highly recommend..
Loved my stay

My wife and I stayed at Salt for our honeymoon and it is truly the best hotel we’ve stayed in and was the highlight of our time in Greece. We felt very welcomed as a queer couple which is of course very important to us. Stavros and Zoe were wonderful! The room is gorgeous and sunset sea view from the jacuzzi just spectacular. Stavros helped us find a rental car which we highly recommend to explore the wonderful island of Milos.

My husband and I stayed at Salt Suites for 10 days for our honeymoon and we could not recommend this place enough! We stayed in the provatas suite and it was a such a relaxing experience. A delicious breakfast (we had truly amazing yogurt, honey, fruit, fresh pressed OJ, and spinach pies) was delivered to our room each morning and I am already missing the breakfast with a view. It’s an easy and short walk into town for dinner. They also sell wine at the front desk and my husband and I often enjoyed sipping amazing Greek wine watching the sunset every evening. The view feels so private and secluded, allowing for a truly unique and amazing stay!!

My wife and I stayed at Salt Suites during our stay on Milos. Very clean and modern rooms and the location? Incredible! Our balconies were literally 20 feet from the Aegean Sea! Spent a lot of time jockeying for a sunset view during our stay on Santorini, before arriving in Milos, only to find a picture-perfect sunset view directly off our balcony!! Not sure how the owner pulled it off, but did indeed land what has to be the best location in Pollonia. Suites are a short walk to the quaint Pollonia downtown area and we enjoyed the stroll each day. Finally, the staff was wonderfully friendly and bent over backwards to take care of us - Zoe was especially helpful on all fronts!! Highly recommend Salt Suites on all fronts.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They always find a solution for your needs (early breakfast, finding a car to rent although they are all booked). We have been upgraded to the honeymoon suite for free because the clients had canceled. Amazing sunset view from both the room and the terrace. Very well located to go dinning to Pollonia. The room was huge and very comfortable. Everything was perfect.

If you like a peaceful, idyllic location overlooking the ocean this place is for you! Absolutely breathtaking and made even better with a jacuzzi to admire it all from.
As others have said breakfast was nice but could be better.
Pollonia is a 10 minute stroll away and has some wonderful restaurants.

Is the hotel walkable to restaurants for dinner in Pollonia
Answer from Kevin S
Singapore, Singapore43 contributions62 helpful votes
The hotel is right next to the water. However the rocks are a bit sharp so you need to be careful. 100m to the left, the hotel next door has a platform that makes it easier to get in and out or you can walk a bit further to the right and there are some easy access points. I swam in the water every day.

Yes I would stay here again. The pictures don't do it justice, the rooms and view especially the ocean front room was just breathe taking. It is on the water but not a sandy beach. There is a dock that you can jump in the water but we didn't do that. We did walk to the sandy beach and yes the restaurants are also waling distance. You do need a car to get to the other attractions of the island.
