Perfect location for sunset, close to upscale Pollonia with so many diverse restaurants that offer Greek Nouvelle cuisine. Great service , very kind owner, beautiful architecture of the hotel, on the veranda of it you feell like being on a yacht. Nothing is impossible for Dimitra, booking sunbeds, restaurants, thank you to all the other that offer great service with a smile.

We stayed in Melian for 6 nigths and would like to return. The location is perfect on a rocky peninsula just 200 m from the sandy beach of Polonia. The room was excellent and the view unforgettable especially at sunset. The service was perfect and I need to mention especially Thanasis that took every care to make our stay in the hotel unforgettable providing also many tips for the island. The breakfast was plentiful but we would appreciate some variety on the items from day to day. We highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is perfectly located, with a private parking, a beautiful beach with clean and clear waters, the staff is very friendly and professional, the room was always amazingly clean, with an impressive view to the sunset from the balcony, the restaurant (that we tried for the last dinner) was the best culinary experience for us in the island.. so tasteful and gourmet! The colorful compositions, the entire experience was an explosion of flavors!!! We can without any doubt strongly recommend it!!!

My wife and I wanted to find somewhere quiet to hideaway and work as well as have the beauty of Greece and a bit of time out. Our original plan was to find an Airbnb for privacy, but then we stumbled upon the Melian hotel. This place is perfection - immaculately clean, modern with classic style, Anestis should actually run classes for other hotels around the world on how to look after guests - he was beyond helpful and so were the rest of the friendly and kind team. Food exceptional. View exceptional. Rooms perfect. And it is almost as though you have the place to yourself thanks to the clever design and ambience. This hotel is immediately on my top list of hotels to go and hideaway. And then you have the charming town of Pollonia less than 10 mins stroll down the lane, with good restaurants and the boutique experience seems to just effortlessly continue. We will be back.

Melian is a small, quiet and very classy place and we really enjoyed it. Views from the lounge area are gorgeous, food, drinks and service are excellent (though don't expect a full-service restaurant - there isn't one, this really is boutique). As their photos show, there is only one outdoor area, with tables for breakfast, comfy sofas for lounging and a little jacuzzi pool. There's no proper swimming pool. But the area suited us just fine and was never crowded, it just felt relaxed and high-quality. They have their own little jetty inviting you for an open water swim - lovely. There's no grand approach or entrance to the hotel, it's very low-key, so don't expect to swish up in your limo to a fanfare of trumpets - this is Cyclades island living. There are some fantastic restaurants on Milos - just ask Dimitra for recommendations, she was really helpful and knows what's good! Pollonia was busy and buzzy in August, in an attractive way, though we tended to go further afield for beaches and dining.
