We were only here for one night and it was lovely - great spacious renovated room for family of 4. Onsen, heated pool (extra fee) and karaoke room all provided plenty of fun. Dinner was ok but pricey - we drove down to Denny's (5 mins) for breakfast. Simply amazing views from balcony.real pics from our room! We had a...

Just come back from my trip and this hotel was one of the memorable hotels of this latest trip in Japan. The hotel provides shuttle van service which gives the convenience. We booked and stayed in Harvest Club Wing and can enjoy the view from the balcony for free all day long. The bathroom is spacious when compared with typical...

The only reason to stay here is for the view. You literally have Mt. Fuji right in your face. Breathtaking views in the morning with the lake covered by clouds. It's an oldish hotel. Rooms have an 80s style. Bed was horribly uncomfortable & sunken in. Good spread for breakfast. French & Japanese restaurant within hotel. We had dinner at...

Dear LindaAS, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us on TripAdvisor following your visit to Hotel Mount Fuji. Our hotel was built in 1963, and recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. It is true that a number of rooms haven’t been touched since our last complete renovation in 1999. We are going to renovate 2 more...

I booked a room here last minute. I arrived by motorcycle and they helped me carry my cases/luggage up to the room. Staff was very friendly. Room was nice. Some of the furnishings were older looking but it was nice regardless. Breakfast buffet in the morning was good. Staff was friendly and wished me a safe ride as I left....

The hotel Mount Fuji is expensive and needs major renovation. The restaurants are especially for Japan very average and have a charm like a canteen. So there is only one reason visiting the hotel a breathtaking view on Mount Fuji. But be aware the Fuji is only visible around 70 days on average a year.

Dear linder204 I would like to offer my sincere apologies for failing to live up to your expectations on this occasion. Statistic shows Mt.Fuji is relatively visible during winter season. We stayed here for 2 nights. Most people speak English, and even those who don't, manage to communicate fairly well. We loved the view, the Japanese style room, and the trails within the hotel. This hotel is very close to Mt Fuji, the Lake Yamanaka Flower park (which I recommend you visit, specially if you have kids), and there is...

The hotel was too isolated. We booked so that we could get a close view of Mount Fuji which we were lucky enough to get on the first morning we were there.
