I booked a room here last minute. I arrived by motorcycle and they helped me carry my cases/luggage up to the room. Staff was very friendly. Room was nice. Some of the furnishings were older looking but it was nice regardless. Breakfast buffet in the morning was good. Staff was friendly and wished me a safe ride as I left.... More

The hotel Mount Fuji is expensive and needs major renovation. The restaurants are especially for Japan very average and have a charm like a canteen. So there is only one reason visiting the hotel a breathtaking view on Mount Fuji. But be aware the Fuji is only visible around 70 days on average a year.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Most people speak English, and even those who don't, manage to communicate fairly well. We loved the view, the Japanese style room, and the trails within the hotel. This hotel is very close to Mt Fuji, the Lake Yamanaka Flower park (which I recommend you visit, specially if you have kids), and there is... More

The hotel was too isolated. We booked so that we could get a close view of Mount Fuji which we were lucky enough to get on the first morning we were there. If you book make sure you include breakfast as the meals are unbelievably expensive. The evening buffet was nothing special and cost us £90 without drinks. The room... More

We stayed two days in our honeymoon, the hotel is old fashioned, very clean, the staff struggle to speak English, even though they were friendly and helpful. The hotel is not close of any restaurants or another attraction, so you have to reserved a free shuttle, to the nearest town (10 minutes from the hotel but impossible to go by... More

I was there with my friends at the end of August when the person in charge of the inn repeatedly spoke to us in such a rude manner, that we decided to leave the accommodation only to walk up to the peak on the same day. I've stayed in many a camp sites, hostels, inns and much less, and never... More

Mt. Fuji is a very comfortable hotel. On arrival we were welcomed an showed around by a lovely girl. The room with two singles and a tatami part was large and had all mod cons. The onsen was modern clean and nice with a sauna and steam cabin. Breakfast catered to both western and Japanese flavour on its buffet. The... More

I was with two friends and stayed here for 2 nights on a B&B basis beginning of April. Staff: very friendly and attentive. Had plenty of time for you. Location: if you have a car, location is brilliant... Very high up and uninterrupted views of mt Fuji on a clear day! Very quiet! However if you are on foot, I... More

The location is different from the usual kawaguchicho but the view is just as good. The room are very clean and spacious. From the view of my room, i believe all rooms should be able to see Mount Fuji from their balcony.

Lucky we saw the perfect mt.fuji on our 2nd day, sunny day. We took a family room for 4 people, 2 western style bed and 2 Japanese style bed. However the hotel is on the mountain and far from the local road, so you're really need to rent a car to stay here or suitable for local person. Moreover the... More
