We had a short 3 day stay at Lamaison-Uzes, and enjoyed it so much. Best of all is the excellent and nice service - at all times. Always a smile, and always the wish to help and be at service. Nice apartments, swimming pool, laundry room - even a fitness room! Remember to try the bakery just across the street - and Uzes - 3 km away - is an amazing French city, with markets, chateau and excellent shopping. We loved it!

This B&B is a beautiful house set in a gorgeous setting. Sebastien and Karen look very well after their house and guess, very friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. The house is set is the quite village of Montaren 5 minutes drive away from the main city of Uzes. Considering Uzes' population goes frmo 8,000 to 40,000 in summer, the house is ideally placed to enjoy a peaceful vacation in an area normally very crowded. Add to this the fantastic prices (the equivalent accommodations in the area can easily cost 50% more) and you have a winning ticket to some great holidays. My only regret: I can't give it a score of 6.

Karen and Sébastien are the very hospitable owners of these apartments. There is a reason they have named it 'La Maison', because that is the feeling I got when having a long weekend stay last summer. The rooms/apartments are excellent, there is actually a big choice of French, English and even some German books for the readers among us and a swimming pool to just lay around and have the occasional splash in the water. But for me personally, its biggest treat is the over arched table with barbecue where all other guests can gather, which is a guarantee to meet new acquaintances or even make friends for life. The only negative point? My stay was way to short!

We try to go to the South of France every year. Stopping at La Maison Uzes has now become a ritual. The appartments are really well equiped, there's a swimming pool and a small gym, the location is ideal and Sebastien and Karen are so welcoming and always at hand to help. The house is made of large stones which is ideal to keep cool in the summer weather. The best place at affordable prices.
