If you need a tranquil setting to decompress after a stressful period. Casa de Coria is that place. Do not miss Bistro night when Chef Jonnie and staff serve up a guest feast. The evening of fine dining includes a husband & wife duet that bring the audience to their feet. A great time was had by all. Make sure to ask Annie and Luz direction to popular restaurants, vineyards and Bodega’s. If you have an interest in hiking the Andes or Aconcagua region the staff has available Driver Miquel and Adrian as a guide. My week at the Casa is at the top of the list of memories and we are anxious to return this March.

WOW Factor... I visited & stayed @ Casa de Coria last year ( 2020 ) before the pandemic. I returned recently( April 2021) for a brief stay & had a jaw dropping hospitality experience. The owner/operator... they call him (Bruce) did extensive renovations during the pandemic lock down. What has changed: The pool deck has been expanded to allow the guests full sun..ALL DAY if you choose with premium chase lounges, lights installed in the pool, for moon light swims, a new TIKI Bar is adjacent to give the guest shade & entertainment & flexibility with your beverages. New paved walk ways., new secure parking inside, grape vines have been installed to give you that Mendoza feeling of being in a petite vineyard. Casa de Coria has a new wine/gift shop, a whiskey bar & a cigar room if you choose to use. All of the rooms have the expected amenities, all the rooms from what I could see, have been up-graded with premium bedding & pillows( best sleep in Mendoza), the rooms are very well appointed & accessorized with one-of kind antiques & argentine props dating back to a the art deco area or a more simpler time. The casa de Coria compound is very well manicured and the grass feels SO,SO good on your bare feet, I never wore my shoes inside the compound!! What really stands out for me on this visit was the ultimate privacy you experience when you enter the grounds. So during my stay, the mask guard is at your discretion & comfort level... not required if you choose. The evening fire place outside, sipping whiskey or wine. The flexibility to order food in or use the huge grill & clay oven to prepare your own culinary delights. What is really fun if you stay over on a Sunday night is " BISTRO " night.. the owner BRUCE has a chef team brought in to prepare and provide a three course gourmet dinner, paired with wine & a musical duet that preforms classic fun songs... you are even invited to sing Karaoke. I was fortunate to hear the owner bruce sing Hey Jude & stair way to heaven... Bruce you Nailed it! WOW.. What a Fantastic visit I had!!!

We found Casa de Coria as an excellent place to be on vacation. The hosts make your stay pleasant, calm and relaxed. I say the hosts because everyone who works there, does it in such a way that they always help to make your comfort the main priority. Bruce, is incredibly host, he will do everything possible to make your stay as rewarding as possible. Amazing host. Ani, she was wonderful helping us with all the tours of the wineries and which places were most recommended. And last but not least, the morning staff, they were very nice and always waiting you with a big smile, meanwhile caring about nothing was missing for your breakfast. Thank you so much, Casa de Coria

An excellent spot, in the wine-growing town of Lujan de Cuyo, which is an upscale suburb of Mendoza. Large ground floor rooms and very good breakfast provided. Run by an American retired pilot, who, along with front of house staff was very welcoming and helpful. Trips to local wineries were arranged for us. The town centre is just outside, with several restaurants - and in the central square, we watched locals dancing Tango in the open air. Frequent buses run from outside the property to central Medoza. Secure car parking provided.

Those (like me) with inhibitions about b & b’s should abandon them in favour of this wonderful small establishment. “Small” is relative: the rooms are set in a very generously-sized garden which contains a pool, and the gardens themselves offer seating for groups or for privacy. Breakfast - a very good breakfast - is offered in a separate building where one can meet one’s fellow guests around a communal table, and, while that prospect often arouses trepidation, don’t let it; we didn’t meet anyone unpleasant..... Our room was a delight. It (the Malbec room) is really a suite of bed/sitting/dressing/bath rooms, with great storage space, and blessed by the absence of television. Ask for it! TV is available within 50 metres if you like endless football... The area surrounding is a pleasure to be in. It is always alive (more so after 8pm), and is full of restaurants, bars, shops, and.... vineyards! “Service” doesn’t do justice to the quality of the care which one is afforded. The staff are exceptional, and seem to take a genuine interest in one’s well-being, activities and enjoyment. Their boss, the American owner Bruce, is a good man who spreads goodwill amongst his guests; although until our stay I thought only Australians were called “Bruce”.

This was the best place we stayed during our holiday in Argentina. Chacra de Coria is the nicest neighbourhood in the Mendoza area, with loads of great shops, bars, restaurants and wineries. You can’t go wrong with this property, it has a prime location, lovely gardens to relax in and great staff. They will look after you here!

I loved my stay at the Hotel. Bruce, the owner, just makes you feel like you are a friend since ages, directly putting you at ease as if he was welcoming you into his home (it is). You can be independent here, or spend time with him, as he is a true legend! This man has done it all in his life and will be more than glad to share incredible stories and live adventures with you if you wish to have some fun in Mendoza. He knows the best places in town and will help you to find out the best place to have lunch or the best winery to visit. It is a true pleasure to be at the Casa de Coria, we even extended our stay there! We fel far from the city, in nature. Also, there are plenty of restaurants around Casa de Coria that you can join by foot very easily. The hotel has a pool and a lot of cute spots to hang out in the afternoon or late mornings, to read and chill. I would really recommend this place for anyone who loves to feel at home but at the hotel at the same time. It has a family-vibe that I never found anywhere else.

If you want to get away from the chain Hotels, I suggest you give this place serous consideration. I stayed 30 some nights @ Casa de Coria between November-May of 2019 while traveling Argentina. This Guest house/ Bed & Breakfast is nestled in the village of Chacras de Coria. " If there is a Beverly Hills of Mendoza " this is the township. I call Casa de Coria a compound of privacy with 17 foot ivy covered walls, rich vegetation & huge palm trees. My favorite past time inside this place is walking barefoot in the grass, either practicing Yoga, lounging next to the pool ( during season ) or reading a novel in one of several lounges through out the compound with my feet in the grass sipping wine. In the evening, if you request, the owner " they call him Bruce " will prepare a fire @ night for you to enjoy after dinner. I often took advantage of this & sipped on a dram of whiskey while other sipped wine. Outside Casa de Coria you have several fantastic wine tasting & Culinary experiences that will raise your eye brow's. If you have not done so, before you arrive, & wine tasting is on your agenda, seek the guidance of the owner " Bruce " or the guest relations manager Ms. Belin. They conveniently can suggest wine & culinary lunch pairings categorized as Premium, executive or economy flights for you too select. I experienced them all & my commentary is that the Premium the more expensive offerings cost ranging from $1,800-$2500 Pesos per person. This included either 5-7 course steps of gourmet dishes & wine pairings. Wine pours are unlimited in the premium flights. The executive flights typically offer 3-5 course gourmet dishes with wine pairings ( $1,100-$1,700 ) peso per person. If you just want to sample wine with no gourmet lunch the economy flight is also a fun day. In this wine region of Lujan de Cuyo & not more than 10 minuets in taxi from Casa de Coria you have six fantastic wineries all unique & contrast each other with their wine producing philosophies. You can visit two of these wineries on any given day with a reservation & pair that with a lunch in one of several charming cafe or restaurant's in Chacras de Coria. The guest relations manager Belin can help you with your transportation requiremnets either during your visit or prior to your arrival. Since this place is in such a prime location, in the dinner hours you have a handful of fantastic restaurants with in walking distance in this charming village. The owner " Bruce " one day suggested I take this horse back riding excursion in the Andes... really amazing & tranquil to see such scenery & breath the mountain air. The tour guide is fluent in English & was very helpful for us beginners. I had a lot of fun @ this place !!! Hope this review helps when considering your visit to Mendoza.

We had a lovely (if whistlestop) stay at Casa de Coria. The property is stunning with great grounds and nice rooms. Big comfortable bed and traditional features throughout. The Casa is located in a pleasant suburb about 30 mins from the airport towards the south of Mendoza, convenient for many of the local wineries and the Uco Valley beyond. After an initial rocky start where we turned up at the property and no one was in, the service was excellent. Belen, Bruce and David were all very helpful in arranging a lunch and wine tour - including adeptly navigating the challenge of most wineries being closed on a Sunday. The breakfast was solid enough, but proper coffee rather than instant would be a good addition!
