This is quite a place and one that should not be missed if you love wine, food, exceptional service, and stunning rooms. To start, the rooms are stunning- unbelievable beds, one of a kind architecture, spacious bathrooms, and a roof terrance with absolutely stunning views of the vineyards, andes, and stars at night. The staff were similarly wonderful- arranging all... More

The Cavas Wine Lodge is spectacular!! You have a very private villa literally nestled in the middle of a gorgeous vineyard at the foot of the snow-covered Andes. A private outdoor fireplace to enjoy some of the best Malbec in the world while watching the sunset over the mountains. The staff (from Cecila-the owner to housekeeping) was extremely helpful and... The Cava Lodge is a superb "Gem" nestled in the beautiful wine region of Mendoza, Argentina with unforgettable views of the Andes mountains. Cecilia, Martin and the staff showed attention to details and a genuine level of effort to make our experience an unforgettable one. Rooms are superb, restaurant excellent, spa world class. The wine safari driver Mariano was friendly... More

We enjoyed a lot our stay at the Cavas. The lodge is located inside a vineyard and our room (villa) had a direct view to the Andes. It is really great scenery. We loved the smell of the property in early morning. The room was spatious and well appointed, though some facilities would be more useful during summertime. Uneventful check-in... More

The rooms are actually villas and quite roomy, with nice sitting areas and private outdoor areas. Staff was omnipresent and very helpful. Breakfast was included and very delicious as well as a lunch we ate at the resort. Only (slight) negatives, were the internet being very very slow (may be due to the rural location). We also had a few... More

Very attentive and personalized service in small boutique hotel with individual casitas and a main building. Tastefully decorated, original art and fireplaces with a view of the Andes mountains. The owner is present and interested in your wellbeing. Multiple excursions from hiking to equestrian to tastings of the great Malbecs of the area. Food is good but could be stepped... More

It's difficult to overstate how much we enjoyed our stay at Cavas. This might now be our favorite hotel anywhere (we've stayed in luxury properties on six continents) but, in case we are romanticizing because it's freshest in our mind, Cavas is still in the top 5. Briefly, here are the things that set Cavas apart from other high-end hotels... More

I am trying to find the words to describe the rooms, the service and the staff. THIS is PERFECTION. Yes, it may be pricey but they will whisk you away to a place where you will find relaxation and comfort. It was our 11 year Anniversary and we were made to feel so special. We asked for a simple fire.... More

Our stay here was very comfortable and enjoyable. Set in a most tranquil spot, in a vineyard, amongst vineyards, it is a very peaceful place; a home away from home. No fuss and no rush. If you wish to do more than relax and admire the magnificent sight of the Andes (even whilst in the sauna) whilst enjoying local produce,... More

We stayed with my wife and another couple, and although we were told this place was special there was no way for us to anticipate the beauty of the environment, the good taste of Martin and Cecilia (owners) in every detail, and the "pampering" service not available at the big hotel chains. Only 17 rooms, actually little "cabanas" a few... More
