I really can't rate this hotel highly enough. The rooms and location are completely stunning, the staff are amazing and the hotel can arrange everything for you. The wine tours that they arranged for us were to really different vineyards where we had our own private tours. Riding round the vineyards on horseback is an experience not to be missed....

My wife and I stayed at Cavas in September 2016 for our honeymoon. I've been fortunate to stay at many luxury hotels all over the Americas & Europe, but this was my first stay in a 5-star property in South America. I must say that this property lived up to, and surpassed, the quality and service you would expect of...

What a beautiful lodge! It has Spanish designs, the rooms are colorful, spacious and built between vines. Our room had a lovely roof terrace where you could watch the sun sinking over the Andes at night with a Malbec in hand. There is also a small plunge pool in your room to cool you down. The restaurant does food and...

Let me begin by saying that this was the nicest hospitality experience my wife and I have ever had. We were told that the resort was at full capacity, but we rarely saw other guests, the staff knew our names, began to learn our food / drink preferences and catered to our every request. Just imagine a world where you...

Cavas wine lodge is one of the most wonderful hotels we have ever stayed in. We stayed there for 3 nights right at the end of December. Cecilia and Martin, the owners of Cavas are extraordinary people who have built an exceptional hotel and trained the perfect staff. I don't think any review I can write will ever be sufficient...

The restaurant is very good , the staff very nice and helpful and the owners lovely ! We had the best tango show ever !...

Our party of six descended on Cavas during a rare spring thunderstorm - think flooded roads and hail - after a hefty drive from San Juan airport as Mendoza airport has been temporarily closed for construction. But inclement weather didn't stop Cavas' hardworking staff from rolling out the red carpet with glasses of red wine and staff to fetch our...

We usually get restless at secluded resorts--we are city people and initially were skeptical when Liz Caskey, the food and wine specialist who arranged our trip, suggested we stay 4 nights because "this is truly a special place." But, from the minute we arrived, greeted by smiling staff holding glasses of red wine from their own vineyard, we did not...

We stayed at Cavas for 3 days, its one of the best places you could ever wish to stay. The Service, the staff are an example which should be copied by all hotels, especially the expensive ones who don't come up to scratch. I am very loth to praise this hotel too much - cos I would like to keep...

Ok, this might sound like I have been paid to write this but this is truly one of the best hotel experiences of my life - and I have travelled through Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia and both North & South America. We were asked ( upon our departure) if there was anything the hotel could have done more to make...
