We were travelling as a couple for the whole week around Queretaro state from Palo Alto, CA. We were maybe the only guest during our stay, I've saw only a small family on Tuesday. This one of the best hotels near Tequisquiapan, decorations is really beautiful, Mexican classic style with a touch of "churrigueresco", the hotel is friendly for special... More

We went on a family trip and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are great, the bathrooms clean and eventhough it is in the middle of nowhere the town is a 5 min drive away. They helped us plan our hot air ballon ride. I would definetly recommend this hotel.

My Wife and I stayed at this hotel for weekend wedding from 12 to 14 December 2014. This property is located between to main town side of a main road; It have an awesome old Mexican "Hacienda" style (paintings, furniture and construction), well maintained and peaceful. As I said awesome looks (inside and outside), nice Christmas decorations, free parking, good... More

The hotel is very nice you don't notice they are still building some rooms. Some areas still show they are new. The gardens are amazing and very well maintained. Great for outdoors events. The swimming pool is small but warm, you'll love to be there. The breakfast could be better, the flavor was like the food were storaged didn't seem... More

Impossible to rest! If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay at, avoid this place. It is right next to the highway, so you will listen to buses and cars all night. They rent the hotel for weddings and parties, so must likely if you stay for a weekend you will have to listen to loud music... More

We attended a wedding at Villa Antigua and decided to stay here also for the night since the place is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is an old colonial style mansion turned into a hotel. The rooms are nice - however, we had the standard ants in the bathroom (somehow cannot avoid them in Mexico) and there was... More

1. Beautiful, clean place, well maintained, good , opulent kitchen, large, clean swimming pool. Garden with english type lawn and large old trees, excellent for big parties. We had our silver wedding fiesta there with 65 people from Mexico, Europe and the U.S. Friendly staff. 2. If you intend something similar, in particular during the rainy period make sure that... Picturesque country setting, fine restaurant. I stay there every two months or so, when on business in the area, or travelling north from Mexico City. It is not far from the Mexico DF- Queretaro highway, although access has been slowed down recently by road construction. A nice pauze. Good for vacationers or business travellers who tire of the Fiesta or... More
