This was our second stay here and we loved it every bit as much as a year ago. I see some reviewers criticise the high ratings at this accommodation but.... If you are looking for somewhere cheaper or with larger rooms, etc, no doubt you will find them. But if you are looking for an authentic, positive experience which will... More

We spent two wonderful nights at Hospederia del Vino, which is a six room B&B at a family-owned winery. Their entire family was extremely gracious and accommodating. They opened one day before their normal season to accommodate my reservation for two rooms. Jesus was an wonderful host and provided a delightful winery tour/tasting and his wife was so enthusiastic to... More

We stayed here for our second anniversary and fell in love. The family were just wonderful and even invited us to a celebration in their little village. The grounds are amazing and the wine tour was very interesting, more so as it is a family owned Bodega. We went out for dinner to a local village, but afterwards we were... More

We stayed for one night at Hospederia del Vino. The family that owns this winery and B&B is so warm and hospitable. It is very clear that they want their guests to feel welcome and like family. We thoroughly enjoyed our vineyard tour and wine tasting with the family (Jesus, Mila, Miguel) - it was so memorable. The guest room... More

A very standard room, much what you would get in a chain hotel such as a "Mercure", in the middle of nowhere at a cost of 177 euros for two adults and a child. I have come to the conclusion that, where B&Bs are concerned, because of the personal relation that is created with the owner, TA reviewers will give... More

A hidden gem in the little village of Abalos, near Lagorno, Haro... and all Rioja attractions and wineries. It's secluded, quiet, no traffic of any kind, and a part of the Bodega Puelles surrounded by vineyards. If you are looking for an escape and beautiful nature, while being close to Rioja everything - it's here. The hotel itself is totally... More

If we leave work in the up after work, we can get to Abalos by 2pmhving driven through the night to drive through france. The breakfasts are lovely and there is a local super market if you want to cook for the... More

A memorable trip within lovlely areas and perfect hosts. The only negative thing about the trip was that the only restaurant in town wasent avaible for tourist who was not staying at the hotel. But Jesus arranged så we could buy our own food to prepare in the wineyard. Even better accually.

Lovely rooms with stunning views through the birch trees, across the vineyards to the Sierra Cantabrias. Spa & indoor pool. Former water mill from 1700's, converted by the Puelles family to vineyards & bodega. Included winery tour & tasting was informative & walking the vineyards with Jesus gave insight into this labor of love. But the highlight was the Puelles... More
