Perfect quiet location, nearby restaurants and a local mini market around the corner. Cozy room with hot tub. Not used to that at all. Not so good with the showering. But it worked out fine anyway. Excellent service and friendly staff. We had two dogs with us but the hotel only allowed 1 per room, but they helped us with...

The room was very unusual in that it had the look and feel of a 15th century convent but with a giant modern jacuzzi in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was okay albeit not terribly extensive. The view from the room was nice as it overlooked the church next door. There is not a lot to see or do in...

Nice hotel with great character, we were in room 9 which was a bit tight with a double bed and a single. We had a small window where we could see the monastery attached to the hotel which lights up at night. Breakfast was nice, continental. Good coffee. Some nice restaurants nearby too.

I stayed at this property on a Sunday evening in June. The fact that it has no restaurant is not a problem in itself however it would be good if there was somewhere to eat in the town. On this Sunday night having visited 5 cafes/bars all I could buy were two small very unappetizing tapas. The service at the...

After considerable research we picked this hotel as our base to enable us to visit the vineyards of the Riojan region , to further our knowledge and sample a large amount of the wines it has to offer! There is no hotel parking but umerous free parking on side streets. After walking a short distance we found the hotel. It...

Our stay was mostly fine. The hotel was lovely and the room was delightful. However, we were extremely disappointed with the staff. We had received a recommendation for one of two restaurants for dinner: La Vieja Bodega in Casalarreina and Las Duelas at Hotel Los Agustinos in Haro. We asked the girl at the front desk if she could make...

I would consider this an upscale hotel, yet quaint with a great deal of character. The town is well situated for a lot of sightseeing but if you don't speak Spanish (we don't), do your homework before you go because nobody speaks a word of English. There are beautifully painted murals all over the hotel and one of a kind...

We spent two weeks traveling the wine regions in northwestern Spain, and this was by far our favorite hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - holding breakfast for us when we were late, calling around to bodegas for tours, etc. Hotel also provides water, juice and fruit to guests 24 hours a day - a really nice touch....
