I stayed in a 3 bed room here at San Camilo. The outside and grounds of the Hotel were absolutely beautiful. The room was nice as well and we had no problems. However the cafe is only open Monday-Thursday (or so the pamphlet said) so you have to go out of the hotel to get food or drink (which is... More

When walking the Camino and entering Navarrete the Hotel San Camilo is on the far side of the village. You have to actually walk all the way through the village and out the other side to reach the hotel and if there are signs we did not see them. It's a pretty spot, feels as if it was once a... More

We stayed here one night while walking the Camino. Cost was €54 & a bargain after our previous accommodation in Logrono. The room was spotless & very large. The hotel was warm, but no dinner facilities. We walked for 10 mins into Navarrete for a meal at a restaurant. The bathroom has hairdryer, tissues, large fluffy towels. Beds are large... More

Stayed there overnight 2 weeks ago, before going on the Camino. An ideal location, in lovely surroundings, 300 meters from the Camino route, and the bus stop from Burgos. Left my car there for à week, in secured and covered parking, perfect. Very friendly and efficient staff. Définit à good adress.

We stopped here for one night on our journey from Santander to Costa Blanca. The hotel was very clean and tidy ( if a little dated ) and the staff were all very helpful ,especially the evening receptionist who spoke very good English and took the trouble to help with our evening meal ordering . The cafeteria was perfectly adequate... More

We needed somewhere to stop on the way to Santander and this is a fine place to stay the night. The room was comfortable, everyone was very friendly and the hotel itself is decent and clean. Our only gripe was that the breakfast seemed a bit thin, and although we were not late some of the items had run out.... More

We stayed here on our way back to Santander and if was well worth it. Navarrete is a lovely place and is on the "Camino" route so there are lots of interesting people and travellers to talk to. The hotel is in its' own grounds and in a good location to walk to the beautiful village of Navarrete....you must go... More

Great stop off en-route to Bilbao or Santander (approx 100/180 miles) five min drive from the AP68 J.11 No bar in the hotel, but a full mini bar in the room. Navarette is a 5 min walk, and well worth it if you want a taste of real Spain. The locals are very friendly, and plenty of watering holes! The... More

Myself & partner stayed for one night on route from Treceno,to Fiscal in Pyrenees, the hotel is very imposing with a long driveway & secure parking, when we booked in the receptionist appeared to be going through the motions no mention of breakfast or hotel facilities,we got to our room which was'nt ready but only had to wait 10 minutes. The room was... Big hotel in nice grounds but it felt like hardly anyone else was staying there. The restaurant was closed though there was a slightly bizarre snack bar open from 8.30 with a selection of odd offerings which I think went from freezer to microwave or frying pan on order. Navarrete is a dump which everyone should avoid if they can.... More
