This is a great hotel on the Camino - which literally goes past the front door of the hotel. The rooms are excellent - some of them have armchairs as well as the normal furniture you would expect. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and well equipped. We experienced no noise at all from the...

the hotel is well situated, close to the church and in the middle of the old part of town. it is also close to good eating. The hotel is comfortable, well restored and maintained and the receptionist was helpful but spoke little English. Our room was a good size, comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the street. The bed was...

Super friendly check in. I didn't catch the name of the young woman at the front desk (I wish I had asked) but she was so sweet and helpful. She even carried my backpack to my room! Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. My favorite part was the heated towel rack--it was super hot! Perfect for drying clothes! If you're doing...

My expectations were not high as I walked into Navarrete, but the Rey Sancho turned out to be a treat. Its large room and excellent bathroom were luxuries on the Camino de Santiago. While the town itself was not large, to find this quality and this facility was a welcome surprise. Should I ever return to the Camino whether walking...

Lovely hotel right near the centre of town. There's a restaurant on-site but honestly the food is better at the cafes nearby. The room was good sized and had a heated drying rack--very convenient as I'd been walking in the rain for two hours. The full bathtub was delightful after days of walking. Internet worked great and hotel staff couldn't...

We arrived on a wet day on the Camino and were able to go straight to our room. The room was very big and comfortable. The bathroom was decent sized too. Overall, very clean. The man at the front desk brought up our luggage when it was delivered. But that was where the nice service ended. They served a rather...

We stayed one night in the Rey Sancho, which is in the village center of Navarrete. Check in was great, very warm welcome. The room was clean and good size.Nice decorations and a cosy feeling. We stayed in the hotel also for dinner, where we had the pilgrim menu. The food was ok for the prize, the wine as well....

My stay at Rey SANCHO was most enjoyable, minutes away from the events I was attending to. Great food and the best wines. Modern, clean and most friendly staff. I even had a balcony and could watch the peregrines on The Way to Santiago, passing by. I'll be back.

We stopped off here for dinner and were planing on staying the night. Unfortunately the owners appear to have a disregard towards pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. The food in the restaurant was poor, the service by the staff was good, but ultimately the experience failed to address a lack of hospitality.

Hotel OK though not 3 stars advertised - eg no hair dryer. But restaurant really bad. We were used to pre-prepared pilgrim menus as standard along the Camino. But this one served up lamb as main course and it literally was dish of bones in oily broth - inedible! Cheap meal is fine but we'd happily pay more for fresh...
