Visited the Tower Bank Arms for an evening meal whilst staying overnight in a nearby B&B. The staff offered a friendly welcome and there was a good choice of beers including a porter ale, great. Good choice of dishes on the menu and we were not disappointed by our choices. The bar has limited table settings but there is a... More

Some of my family members wanted to visit Beautrix Potter House (HIll Top). Rest went to the Tower Bank Arms. Cosy, very friendly barmaid and very clean (including the toilets). Fantastic tea, beer and hot choclate served.

Just come back from a 4 night stay at this lovely pub. Staff are really friendly, food was great (we ate there most nights) and fairly reasonable too. Room was good. If we ever go to the Lakes again (which I hope we will) we will definitely go back to this pub.

Went to see Miss Potters house, and this place is next door. So we thought we would have a meal and drink here first. It is very nice, friendly and helpful staff. The meals where excellent, quickly served. Plenty on plate, I couldn't get through it all and reasonably priced.

In the village of Near Sawrey. A traditional country pub, serving drinks and good food. Set on the road side this pub is traditional inside on a cold day the real fire will be lit. On a warm day enjoy the small beer garden and watch the world go by. The pub also has rooms available. You will receive a... More

Nice local style pub with good wholesome food( large portions). Reasonable prices but not cheap. Lot's of locals and walkers use the pub/restaurant. Next door to Hill Top in Near Sawrey. We hated the amount of dogs in the place. On a rainy day the smell of dirty wet dogs was awful. Surely this unhygienic in a restaurant?

Stayed with my husband and two dogs at The Tower Bank Arms for two nights this week. Just got home today and I have to put this review on. This was the first time we have stayed in an inn. We loved the whole experience. The accommodation was excellent, we had a twin bed room which was comfortable and clean.... More

Recently got back from a fantastic long weekend stay, Anthony and the team made our stay very comfortable, great beers, fantastic meals, hot wing nibbles is great, can't fault the food, very reasonably priced for the quality. The inn itself is very homely, great place to base yourself in the lakes. Thanks again kind regards Chris and Angela

After walking the 2 monsters we stumbled on this great pub. Friendly staff made us feel really welcome. After a relaxing drink while the dogs had a nap we decided to sample the food ..... and boy did we get a shock. Stunning and freshly cooked. Took other family members a few days later and they also raved about what... More

We had a comfortable room for two nights at the Tower Bank Arms. Fantastic food and huge portions there was no need to look elsewhere for our second evening: strongly recommend the beef and ale stew. The hosts were all friendly and welcoming and this is a dog-friendly pub too. Definitely worth a stay in the Lake District.
