The hotel is situated in a charming, medieval village of the Drome Provence, on the top of a hill allowing a breathtaking view on the valley. The service is professional, the rooms renovated as well as the dining room, where gastronomic cuisine is served at an excellent price/quality ratio. We'll be back !

We booked three nights and asked for the room by the pool. Nothing much had changed but the room had been slightly upgraded with new curtains and bedding. The weather was wonderful so it was great to have our own private garden by the pool. The hotel has new management. Not quite as personal as it was in the past.... More

The room was clean and looked nice. A bit small maybe. We ate at the restaurant and service was chaotic, not very friendly. It was full and we were overlooked and had to ask several times for our ordered drinks. It also took a while for the different dishes to be brought to the table. Food was excellent though.

Rooms are distributed in several buildings so our experience might not be representative. We had a very large, correctly refreshed, room in the central building. Nothing special but enough space and a good bed. Room access is with an electronic code, convenient as long as there is enough light to see the keyboard, which is not obvious everywhere!! Professional, helpful... More

Right from the greeting we received upon arrival we were shown tremendous service and attention. The food was excellent and the wine list the best during our four weeks in France. We could ask anything of the wait staff and their collective sense of humour was great! Highly recommend!!

The food is lovely and the atmosphere is more than friendly. We enjoyed two meals here, with delicious local products. The lamb was superb! As a starter I had tuna, which was beautifully prepared. My wife chose a peasoup with smoked truite followed by a grilled dorade, both dishes were delicious. We shared cheese, a dessert and a great local... More

My expectations were high: beautiful setting, marvelous view from the terrace, great dining. The end result was: it is a nice hotel but in this case the quality and the price paid do not match. Staff could really be friendlier and more personal. Service could be better. The dinner was OK too -not high on a French cuisine-scale though (and... More

The hotel is set in the heart of this 11th-12th-century village so the château and other old buildings of the village are on your doorstep and well worth exploring. There are museums and often exhibitions to visit and it is good to see this historic settlement enjoying a new lease of life in the 21st century. The hotel itself is... More
