The restaurant is amazing and the food is straight up delicious 🤤 We have enjoyed the local wine selections and great meze as well. The dishes are served beautifully and it was a real pleasure to dine here. Definitely coming back

Wow! What a wonderful place! The suites, the food, the drinks the serene ambience, the spa treatments and the service… just wow. A special thank you to Mary and Abel for making our stay 6*. It was a perfect few days with no room for improvement whatsoever! We stayed in the Terra suite and had the sun on our pool and terrace until around 5pm. There were alternative sunbeds available for those who perhaps did not get sun all day but we had no issue. I had read previously about the North Winds making the evenings cold… I packed light jackets but to be honest they were not needed. The suites provide blankets in the restaurant if required and also have heaters. Out and about and after sunset it may be advisable if sitting still but we did not use ours. We thoroughly enjoyed the Music under the Stars dining event as well as the Tasting Menu at Exaltis. The wine pairing was informative and delicious. We also visited Franco’s Cafe to watch the beautiful sunset - the drinks and food here were brilliant! Request a front row table and it will not disappoint. Pyrgos is quiet and relaxing and is a lovely place to explore. Carpe Diem is truly stunning!

We had the tasting menu after a cocktail, the place, ambience, food, drink and service were second to none - nice to enjoy a meal which wasn’t the usual traditional fayre. Traditional ingredients but served in a completely untraditional way. Just beautiful.

I can only agree with the reviews on here, it is a beautiful, serene place to relax and unwind. Once inside the hotel grounds there is a peaceful quiet atmosphere. The staff always look immaculate in their snowy white uniforms and the suites and public areas are kept beautifully clean and tidy. The food is exceptional, breakfast is different every day and if you order all on the menu it will keep you full until evening. The service from Abel and Mary at meal times was superb, nothing was too much trouble. The negative was the extortionate prices in the Spa. We always treat ourselves to a couples massage when on holiday but with prices starting at well over €400 it wasn’t happening here! Not much activity around the spa, I wonder why? The hotel is built facing north to take advantage of the wonderful views but this time of year the balconies are mostly in shade, in fact we only had 2 hours partial sun a day and felt the full force of the prevailing north winds so it made it far to cold to use the plunge pool. Take some warm clothes!

The hotel is so tranquil and peaceful. The food is incredible, we had almost all of the dishes on the menu (breakfast, lunch and dinner!) and every single one was fantastic. The hotel had a special singer / jazz night and it was great. Thank you to chef Stellios for the wonderful lobster with orzo, our absolute favourite dish. Abel and Mary always took excellent care of us. Thank you!

We have just spent 5 days at this hotel and if you’re thinking of booking it then my only advice is to book it now. It’s almost like a retreat - so quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the Dea Suite - free upgrade. Huge suite with a large terrace and a heated plunge pool. Breakfast is served 8-11am and you can order everything off the menu - the yoghurt and eggs kept us both full until our evening meal. The area is very quiet - it’s a 12 minute walk to Prygos village and there are a couple of places to eat and drink there. We walked up to Franco’s Cafe to watch the sunset on our first evening and it was worth walking up the steps for. I advice you to book before you arrive - we requested a front table the week before and it did not disappoint. All tables were full by 7.30pm. We got the bus to Perissa beach and found it easy to travel there. With hindsight it would’ve been handy to hire a car/quad to travel around but we had visited Oia before and we were happy taking a taxi to Fira. Our 5 days were very relaxed rather than used travelling around the island.

This was me and my partners first holiday together and we couldn’t have picked a better place to spend it. Carpe Diem Santorini itself was absolutely gorgeous. The view over the island was absolutely breath taking and we were lucky enough to experience that same panoramic view from our room thanks to the staff. They really made this stay magical for us and treated us with the utmost respect and care. The staff were so polite and attentive to all of our needs throughout our entire stay from cleanliness to comfortability, food etc. They were very well prepared with activities for us to try on the island as well as the best places to get food. We didn’t have to worry about anything because of how prepared they were! The room was immaculate and cleaned every morning along with our outside area + pool. Once we figured out how to use the huge speaker it was a necessity!! Room service was amazing and the food did not differ from ordering at the restaurant to ordering to the room. We will definitely be returning here and it will be very hard to beat a stay like this!! Truly special.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The views (the best in Santorini!), the cleanliness, the restaurant, the discreet but efficient service of the whole staff ... We can't think of anything that could have improved our stay. Everything was spectacular!
