In the heart of the Mediterranean. Welcome to a coast where the golden sand is lapped by the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, where the archeological sites of Agrigento, Kamarina and Caucana, dip into the green carob and olive tree, are framed by white dry-stone walls. Etna, so magnificent, dominates the southeastern Sicily and its black lava contrasts with the bright colors of an island to find out. Parco della Rocca Hotel is close to a sandy beach, where you can walk or simply lie down to get a tan under the sun of Sicily.

Spent two evenings in this hotel. very comfortable and clean. Staff helpful at reception, except one lady who was a bit dour. The breakfast waiter/ chef was delightful and extremely accommodating. We enjoyed both the beach and the pool. I would strongly advise Montalbano fans to stay here and visit Punta Secca in the evening. Even the beach is better!

The owner Loredana will make everything possible to please her clients. Breakfast is great and coffee is served by order. just a hundred meters or so from the blue Mediterranean sea. Rooms are very clean and mine was with a massive terrace. Great value for money and excellent service. Thanks Loredana, we will see you again.

We stayed here for 10 days in a beautiful family room on the second floor overlooking the sea. The room was large, spacious and airy. The air conditioning was just the right temperature so you didn't wake up in the morning freezing to death. The food was exceptional, authentic Sicilian cuisine. We can not compliment the chef Franco enough, the dinners were amazing, the breakfasts excelled our expectations with homemade pastries every day but get down early before they are all eaten! The staff are very helpful and friendly particularly Magdalena in the restaurant who speaks very good english. I can not recommend this hotel enough for value, service and location. What a fantastic holiday we will be back next year, Ultan, Attracta & Cúán.

We stayed here for one night with friends. We chose this hotel because it was close to Donnafugata Golf Resort and was on the beach. It is in a quieter part of town, but we enjoyed the quiet and accessibility to the beach. The free breakfast was great, typical Italian breakfast with croissants, but they also had cereal, fresh fruit and coffee, which suited all of us fine. The hotel matched the photos, felt clean and had big bathrooms and balconies in all the rooms. As always, we brought extra pillows as it's typical to find very flat pillows and hard beds in Sicily/Italy, so prepare or manage your expectations. The staff was accommodating and nice, but they do not speak English so study your Italian or book online to prevent any confusion. Also, one of our friends were able to bring their dog, which is rare and great, and you can extend your stay for the day (checkout is @10:00) for only 10 euros more. As other reviews state, there isn't much to do around the hotel, but there is a local caffe and pizza spot, and the beach 100m down the road. We didn't mind driving to where we wanted to go as most tourist spots were within 20min. We ate at the castle for dinner, bought provolone cheese in Ragusa, did a beach day and had lunch at Marina di Ragusa, and the husbands enjoyed their day of golf. All in all it was a great trip and we're happy to go back again.

This hotel was our base when staying on the South coast of Sicily. It was an average hotel in most aspects. The location was a little "out of the way", in a quiet area where activities were scarce. Whilst the hotel was clean and comfortable, the bedroom and dining room were dated and in need of freshening up. The television in the room was of no benefit as it was too small, old-fashioned and with no English channels, no tea-making facilities were in the room either. The bathroom had no bath, just a shower. The balcony area was in need of repainting and new outdoor furniture. The foyer/entrance was poor. Nobody was available or equipped to advise on activities, tours or dining out. On the plus side, the swimming pool area was terrific, with ample space and privacy to unwind. The chef tried hard to come up with menus suitable for non-Italians, although the evening meals were expensive for very plain food. The cheese omelettes, especially made for my own breakfasts were superb, and we were offered the odd complementary cappuccino, which was much appreciated. Whilst we thoroughly appreciated the efforts of the staff, I feel that the four star rating was probably one star too many.
