I had a great experience at Hotel Saccardi with free shuttle from the airport and was able to drop my bags off then get the free shuttle into Veronaat at 12pm (about 15 mins). Explored the beautiful city and was collected again at 4.20 and brought back to the hotel. The pool was beautiful and I had a wonderful massage in the spa. Staff were so friendly and helpful and I had my first ever experience of dining alone and the waiter was so lovely and attentive and the chef made delicious food with beautiful presentation and even came out to say hello. With menu of the day I had a 3 course meal with great portions and 2 glasses of wine for €30 which was amazing value as the food was so delicious - including the chef's homemade lemon sorbet that was amazing. They even put a candle in it and lit for me as the next day was my birthday. Was a lovely experience! Breakfast was good too and another swim in the pool with checkout at 11. They also left chocolates and a card in my room on my birthday and arranged a taxi to Lake Garda for me. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend

So on my last night of a 4 day break with my daughter. This hotel is based approx 5 minutes from the airport and the hotel do offer a free shuttle service. You can also book on the free shuttle to take you into Verona and back. Going put into Verona 9am, 12, 4, 7pm are the times and then coming back it’s 12:20, 4:20pn and 7:20pm. Just book it at reception who are very helpful.
We only ate in the restaurant one lunch time food was nice but my daughter is very fussy and it was difficult to find something she would eat but they were very accommodating and found something she would eat that wasn’t on the menu. You can purchase toast from the bar/cafe which means toasties and these are delicious and very reasonably priced . Pool is lovely and pool towels are supplied. The spa is stunning and the gym looked amazing if you are into fitness. Staff are all very helpful. We had room service one afternoon and they only charge 3E if you just order drinks from the bar there is no charge added on.
There is a small pizza restaurant just a : minute walk and it is lovely and very reasonable. There isn’t very much around to walk to but with the free shuttle to Verona it’s fine. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Saccardi hotel and spa is a well kept hotel in Verona When we arrived we were given a room overlooking the pool which was amazing ,housekeeping was top notch .Breakfast was a buffet which had alot of variety and the staff were kind .We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant in the garden near the pool which was so romantic in the evening where it was nicely lit up. We used the pool in the spa where we had a great time and the reception at the spa was so friendly, we also used the outdoor pool which had a relaxing ambience . The hotel is not in the centre of Verona but we used the shuttle bus to go to Verona which was free which the hotel organised were you had to book beforehand. We had an early flight and the reception were kind enough to let us have something for breakfast before we left .As a hotel it is outstanding because it has alot of facilities one can enjoy but its not in the centre where you can walk and enjoy verona city centre late at night but all in all we still had an amazing stay .

The hotel was about 5 minute from the airport so at night you can hear the airplanes landing. This was a shock.

Verona was about 5 miles from the hotel so the location was not ideal for the above reason and travelling to Verona.

They offered a free shuttle bus at various times to and from Verona but it was a small bus so often full. So we had to pay for a taxi costing 25 euros each time we could not get on the shuttle bus.

The food - breakfast was not good the eggs and bacon was poor quality and the bread hard. The restaurant food was very expensive and not nice. We tried it one evening and did not go back. I ordered a risotto from the menu and they brought me plan rice. When I challenged this. Overall 0 rating for the restaurant.

The rooms are not 4 star rating but were clean.
The Spa was not as expected - they did not do any facials just massage and I was told that was closing for good the next day! There is really no spa.
Overall the hotel was cheap but I would not go there again.
The staff were friendly that is all I can conclude on.
Next time I would book a hotel in Verona its self and look more closely at the reviews.

This was advertised as a four star hotel with a daily shuttle bus into Verona by Jet 2. This hotel is a three star at best, we had a room with wrought iron furniture and the fridge doubled up as a bedside cabinet!!. with very poor wifi service in the bedrooms and lounge area. The shuttle bus is totally inadequate for the the service it can only take 8 people in at given times, they will not put on any extra journeys to assist their customers, you will need to book a seat ASAP as there is no other way to get into Verona except by taxi, this cost us an extra 120 Euros for four journeys. Also currently next door to the hotel and directly behind the pool there is a demolish site so whilst you are trying to relax at the side of the pool, there is the motorway noise which is directly next to the hotel, demolish site and the planes form the airport less that two miles away....really was not the break I was looking forward to!!!

Had a lovely superior room at an €40 a night. X 7 nights,
So the menu was not to our liking and didn’t seem to bother anyone that all the residents would eat else where every night! The restaurant was always empty of an evening.

A steak or pork chop ,lamb etc would of kept us there all the time .
As we agreed it’s a beautiful restaurant.(what culture is it nowadays that lets ,dogs into restaurants)not for me !

As previously mentioned shuttle service is a day in advance booking and the hotel is spotless, the staff are lovely.

But it’s advised by Jet2 and it’s own website as a Adults Hotel !!
While we stayed a competition call Horseball was on ,they boarded at the hotel kids and all ,with no explanation from the rep or hotel as to why kids where there £€€€€
I complained and had my upgraded room at half price ! Fair but really ruined the whole experience,we felt rather uncomfortable with the immature attitude of the very young guests. About 30 + of them including family.

Would not return or use Jet2 again

The hotel is situated about 6k (20 min shuttle bus ride) from the main square in Verona. With a large swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers it is a welcome oasis from the heat and hustle and bustle of Verona city centre. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service there and back 4 times a day. (It’s best to book your seats early as it’s only a mini bus). But it is a great way to have the best of both worlds; a pool to relax by, and free access to the wonderful city of Verona. The staff at the hotel could not be nicer or more helpful. The breakfasts were excellent. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening however. The rooms are a little tired but all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Saccardi and Spa.

I had the most amazing stay at this hotel! I travelled on my own and found the staff really attentive and helpful. The spa was incredible! I treated myself to a massage which was well worth it and used the well-being rooms and pool every day. I didn’t have a car and used the hotel shuttle service which was easy to book at reception for the airport or Verona city. I was half board and found the restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was a very high standard, Gianfranco’s recommendations for food and wine were always appreciated and I felt utterly spoilt in there. Anyone who has travelled solo knows it can be quite daunting depending where you go, but this hotel made everything easy and I had a wonderful stay. I can’t recommend this place enough!

From the outside, the hotel is a concrete eye-sore. However, do not judge a book by its cover. Inside the reception area and facilities, the hotel is very nice. The hallway to rooms is a bit dated with old carpet. Hotel room was fine. Pool area nice, indoor pool and gym are great. Breakfast was average continental breakfast, yoghurt, fruit, ham bread cheese and sweet things. Restaurant a bit pricey. Cafe in the hotel which is handy. Location is convenient. Shuttle bus into centre for free, but allocate times and have to book as get filled up. I would return to this hotel.

First and foremost, this hotel is literally 10mins from the airport however we weren’t really disrupted by the planes in the days we stayed at the hotel.

There is also a sort of building site behind breaking concrete up with big diggers and yes you could here it but things like that don’t really get to me.

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights although one night we stayed in Lake Garda so to give ourselves an extra day there. Which leads me to my next point. The hotel is a great spot to explore other places around Verona. The hotel run a shuttle bus into Verona and the train station. Make sure you plan ahead to get a seat on the bus by booking at reception as it is only an 8 seater. We also visited Padua for a day which is ok but wouldn’t rush back. The Basilica of St Anthony is amazing though! Train links are good for Venice, lake Garda, Milan and also Bologna which we visited last year and was lovely, a must if you’re a foodie but I would stay overnight if I’m honest.

Now to the hotel. From the outside it looks a bit disappointing but take no notice of that as once inside, it’s all ok. Big reception area and a snack bar leading off plus the main breakfast and dining area. The dining area leads out to the pool and bathing area which is lovely. The staff here are wonderful and if you take some time out to talk to them, they’re very chatty which is lovely. I got chatting to the chef one evening and told him how much I love Carbonara. Fast forward the next day and he agreed to cook me one which is off menu 👌(was gorgeous) From the reception staff, waiters to cleaning staff, they were all very welcoming and very helpful. If you like Italian wines then look no further than this hotel as the restaurant is full of it, literally!! We had some very nice wines and even bought a couple to bring home.

Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely and are very thankful to the staff for making it so lovely, thank you to you all x
