Have just returned from our 2nd visit to the Caeau,Ruth, the owner remembered us and we had our same ground floor room as I cannot do stairs. The room is round the back with a lovely view of the mountains and over to the sea.It has it's own outside door leading to a small patio and the lovely garden. This is a lovely, quiet, old world, family hotel. It is spotless and full of personal, homely and tasteful touches. The owner, Ruth, did everything within her power to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The room was a good size, with an extremely comfortable bed. There was a shower and toilet en suite, but we were...

We stopped here for a 3 night break at Easter. The hotel is an old building but has all amenities and we were well looked after. Our room 7 was a good size and the bathroom was small but fully functional with a good hot shower. We had one evening meal in the hotel which was good and well priced. Breakfast...

We stayed in Caeau Capel o a short visit to North Wales in October. Whilst a little dated, the hotel was spotless and the room was wanna and comfy. The owner was great and very welcoming as well as cooking great breakfasts. We definitely would stay again and would just add that the beaches around Nefyn are fantastic.

I would have to agree with gourmet_gallois below in all aspects of his review. I too was working in Pwllheli, 200 miles from home and booked initially for 3 nights. In the event, the job ran late and despite not being able to notify the Proprietors until 4pm on the day I should have checked out by 10am, nothing was...

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days with friends in late August 2014, my third stay at this hotel. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food was very good, excellent breakfasts and local fresh fish & roasts. Our room (25) was in the modern extension, spacious, clean if a touch shabby in places. There...

The owners are extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. As other reviewers have noted, it is quite an old building, but I do not feel that this in any way detracts from the general atmosphere of the establishment, which I would describe as genteel. Everything worked, I had a good sleep and an excellent breakfast. I suppose that a few million...

With Welsh hospitality, friendly, smiling staff, (who are always ready to help), you would have to go far to beat the CAEAU CAPEL HOTEL, NEFYN. We spent three nights with six friends and our well-appointed room was clean, bright and had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Our shower room was small, but again, clean. The Welsh breakfast was excellent,...
