Under new management so had to try the new tea rooms. Had afternoon tea with friends. Lovely fresh home baked cakes and sandwiches. With unlimited tea and coffee also. Really impressed with overall feel of the tearooms and think it's a great addition to an already great pub! £28 for 3 people to have afternoon tea is great and it...

This was the cheapest night I could find on booking.com at £50 a night so I decided to give it a go. On arrival there was a large carpark at rear for customers and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I stayed in room 1 which was much bigger than expected with decent furniture. TV worked well, bed was comfy...

Had an overnight stay at the Buck Hotel and would definitely go back again. Large well appointed bedroom with en suite. Probably had one of the most comfortable nights sleep in a hotel, the bed was so comfortable. The bar was very friendly and my husband was delighted to find Peroni on tap. From my own point of view, the...

Very large bedroom, well appointed with a king size bed and a single bed. Nice wooden furniture, lovely ensuite. Full English breakfasts included in the £70 price and we weren't charged any extra for bringing our two cocker spaniels. Nothing was too much trouble for our host, Rob, and we will be returning in the near future.

Stayed here on Sunday 20th July en route to Fishguard. We stay in Caersws every year but our usual farmhouse accommodation was full so we booked a room at the Buck. The room was very spacious, in fact a family room and very well appointed, nice decor and large TV. The accommodation is not directly over the main public rooms...

We stayed here for a friends wedding. Room was lovely and comfy and area beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic and bar downstairs very useful. They don't do evening meals so we ate 100 yards away at the Red Lion. Rob is very helpful as were all the staff and we would like to thank them for a lovely stay.

A group of friends and I spent two nights here in July, attending a wedding in the next town. We booked (and were given!) a family room and a double room. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. For me the best thing was the friendliness of the staff, by which I mean one particular staff member who I...

Had another family Sunday lunch for 6 of us. Great choice, great food, thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn't have any room for the desserts unfortunately, but they looked lovely and were very tempting. Looking forward to our next visit already!
