Elizabeth the owner of the B And B was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and a fantastic hostess! The breakfasts had lots of choices and the food was well made. Fresh soda bread or wheaten bread everyday! Fresh eggs, delectable bacon and sausages too! It was very hard for us to find it at first as we had no GPS... More

Thank you for your kind comments about breakfast and my knowledge of N.I.! We are sorry you found us hard to find, we are on Goggle maps, apple maps and I send guests directions from the International Airport. The latter is only 3 miles away and we are easy to find from there and it is well signposted. We are... More

We recently spent four nights at Bay Cottage, which we chose because of its central location for our requirements and because of the excellent reviews it has received on TripAdvisor. We weren't disappointed. We stayed in the Hayloft apartment and although we chose to have bed & breakfast, we could easily have self-catered there. Elizabeth made us very welcome and... More

Thank you so much for the lovely review and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. It was a great pleasure to meet all three of you and I do hope that when you uncover more of the family history you decide to return or just come back to enjoy all that Northern Ireland has to offer. My daughter and I stayed there the night before we went to Kraków. The room was very clean & comfortable with tea & coffee facilities in the room. The bathroom was also very clean with a lovely big bath & shower! The breakfast was great, with plenty of variety & chose what we wanted the night before so it was... More

What a DELIGHTFUL experience staying here was. I was so impressed with staying here the first night that I booked an additional 3 nights. Elizabeth is a great host with cooking up amazing breakfasts every morning. She also cooks a really good supper which I had twice. Elizabeth picked me up and dropped me off from the airport and is... Lovely stay at the Hayloft - very comfortable, warm and clean. Excellent spot to visit all our family in N Ireland. Elizabeth and Norman made us very welcome and breakfast on our departure was a lovely traditional Irish breakfast and a good choice of teas, Irish bread and local fruit preserves. Would highly recommend.

We visited Bay Cottage so we could see the Ulster Grand Prix. Elizabeth and Norman were just fantastic. They are always so welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our visit thoroughly enjoyable. They went out of their way to help out in every possible way. The cottage is warm, homely, lived in - not on show - and very,... More

Bay Cottage B&B was probably the best one we visited while in Northern Ireland (My boyfriend said this was due to the great breakfast! Local produce is used wherever possible & there is a large menu for a bnb). Elizabeth was lovely when we rang the door bell & realised in our rush a couple hours earlier we had booked... More

I stayed at the Bay Cottage B&B for a couple of nights while visting Northern Ireland with my mother. Situated with a wonderful view of the lake, this B&B is located in a very quiet rural setting. The owner is very friendly, and immediately makes you feel right at home, as though you were personal guests. The rooms, although simple,... More

We cannot thank Norman and Elizabeth enough for a wonderful stay. As soon as we arrived we felt at home. We were greeted with tea and home made cake. We had a beautiful room and superb breakfast. The family dog and cat are lovely. A perfect escape with superb views over the lough.
