We visited Yr Hafod on the 6th August to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and it was just perfect. The room was really lovely and very clean. Sean the owner makes you feel very welcome and to be honest it was like visiting family!! Well done Sean!! The breakfast is delicious and the produce is locally sourced from the village... More

Wonderful setting, lovely property. 4 rooms, all with decks and wonderfully equipped to a very high standard. Everything you could want for a truly relaxing stay. The breakfast was the best we have every had, local produce, piping hot, cooked to perfection...the only complaint, the specials board made it VERY difficult to choose! My husband has dietary requirements and these... More

We've just arrived home after a 2 night stay at the world's friendliest hotel. We were met by Noodles (the dog) and Leila (one of the owners), who were both friendly and welcoming. Check-in was thorough but efficient and we went to our Room (3). Decorated beautifully and with an immaculate shower room, the room had everything we needed: hairdryer,... More

The Conwy valley and hills are beautiful and very special. This guest house is perfect with many walks from the door. I had a comfortable and elegant room with my own entrance from the deck outside - where I sat, relaxed and enjoyed a good wine from the bar. Breakfast was tasty and abundant, setting me up for walking to... More

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend. We hadn't been to the area before so weren't sure what to expect. We drove mainly on rural B roads to the guesthouse. They were a pleasure to drive on and were very well signposted (this may seem like an irrelevance but my wife is very nervous on narrow, country lanes.)... More

Incredibly helpful with my elderly father who has some mobility issues and stayed here while we stayed at a cottage in Trefriw. Shaun catered for us on two evenings with some fine dining. Lovely lounge area with a decent selection of drinks and wine. The hosts Shaun and Leila could not do more to make the stay enjoyable
