Stayed one night on road trip on NC 500. Room and bathroom spacious and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities. Property not situated near a town so stopped in wick for something to eat before arriving at the property. Proprietor very helpful and cooked great breakfast. The views are lovely and area great. Would staybagain

It’s a good job the road signage is clear for this B&B otherwise it would be difficult to find. Our hosts were friendly and tried hard to make us comfortable. They took Covid security seriously. Our room was compact, clean and had a patio door which gave lovely views over the ruined castle and bay. Breakfast was served at staggered times to keep guests socially distanced. Our hosts served us, quite rightly, but I’d suggest they put a menu of available items on the table so guests can make an informed choice, rather than being randomly asked if they want this, that or the other. My scrambled eggs and bacon were creamy and tasty, as was the rest of my breakfast. Annoyingly the Wi-fi didn’t work which was a real pain as the 4G signal in that area was weak. Neither did the towel rail in the bathroom which made it cold in there. Our TV didn’t have any BBC channels, which was equally annoying. A good value B&B if you are on the NC500.

We stayed here last night on our way around the coast and loved it! The whole place was spotless and smelt so fresh and clean. Maree was so lovely and friendly and made us an amazing breakfast. The views were stunning looking right over the beach. Will definitely stay here again next time we come up this way.

Stayed here as part of our NC500 route. Absolutely lovely Bed and Breakfast. The whole place was spotless and Maree was extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and bathroom very clean. Breakfast was made to order and was a great way to start the day. The views were stunning! Make sure you take a walk to the castle and Keiss beach! Tony and Shelley :)

Stayed here with my wife and teenage daughters as we toured the highlands. The owner was very welcoming and the room well furnished. The beds were very comfortable and certainly a higher standard than others during stays on previous days. The views from the room (number 1) were great and the breakfast delicious. Castle View is fantastic value for money and sets a standard few other guest houses can match. Would recommend you choose there if you are visiting the area.
