3 words to describe our weekend with the family (and dog) at the Kingsley. The 2 Peters were excellent hosts, the breakfast was excellent and the evening bar games also excellent. The room clean, the shower hot, the TV kept the kids entertained when we weren't out and the nearby play park and Forrest was excellent for the children and...

My wife, son and our dog Monty stayed at The Kingsley for one night last week. From check in to check out we had a thoroughly pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and the family room was of a very high standard really comfortable. The hotel is in a great location and just across the road we could...

Recent additions to the original house (built for one of Rev.Charles Kingley's daughters?) has provided extremely high quality accommodation. We stayed in a family Room - double with single bed, en-suite shower. Modern decor - light and airy... might go so far as to say boutique. Plenty of sockets for charging laptops etc. Usual tea and coffee facilities but with...

We had an excellent Sunday lunch here today for a group of 20 family and friends, for a surprise birthday lunch. Nothing was too much trouble. The food, wine and ambience was excellent and the magician was amazing. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

This is a hotel (B&B) with a Spanish feel. The rooms are beautifully decorated, bed is comfortable, bathrooms are beautifully appointed. The breakfast was included and was plentiful with fruit, cereal, juices, tea or coffee and eggs as you wanted them. Also yoghurt supplied. I would definitely stay again. Only negatives - took a few days to work out how...

Visited the Kingsley for Sunday lunch on Mothers Day with my wife and 10 month old son. The venue itself looks great and the room where lunch was served was of a size where you felt at home. The staff were attentive and entertained my son whenever passing our table. The food was great. No complaints at all. Service was...

We stayed here for 4 nights in late March to visit our son and his wife who were having their first baby and our first grandchild. Arrival 5/5 - the hotel is easy to spot from the road and the satnav took us right there. We arrived at 16:00 and there was plenty of parking in front of the hotel....

We saw on our local Facebook site that The Kingsley was doing Sunday lunches, with a table magician to entertain us between courses. Sounded different. So we booked, and loved it. Atmospheric courtyard entrance, then into an intimate dining room with about 10 tables, and a bar billiards table(?) Very friendly staff, local craft beers and small wine list. Our...

This is a family run business where they started using rooms in a house and expanded into a small number of purpose built rooms around a beautiful courtyard. The rooms are so spacious and perfectly designed, it's luxury. It is owned by a married couple who did everything they could to accommodate for my partner and I, and our little...
