We stayed for a night in early March 15. We were warmly greeted by Carol and our room was upgraded at no extra cost. The room was compact but nicely decorated, with a great view. The four poster bed was very comfortable. Both Chris and Carol were fantastic hosts, we had a long chat and they gave us lots of...

We had a lovely stay in the charming guest house. The beds were very comfortable, the room was warm and well facilitated with hot drinks, biscuits, toiletries, dressing gown etc. Carol and Chris were both very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was awesome, we left feeling very full. Loved the unusual addition of dates and prunes! Thanks...

Great location. Great welcome. Great Breakfast. Great service. Can't rate this place too highly. So handy for joining a cruise with their taxi and parking service. Equally handy for exploring the New Forest. Lots of pre-visit help in finding a place for an evening meal on Bank Holiday (thanks). We arrived too early, since there was no traffic on the...

Arrived at Twin Oaks on 8th December, 2 hours early, but were given a very warm welcome and shown straight to our room. We like the cosy, well equipped, twin room at the top of the first flight of stairs and it has become like a 'home from home' to us. As usual our overnight visit, before our Mediterranean cruise,...

Booked in prior to going on a cruise from Southampton and were warmly welcomed by Carol. The room we had booked had a water leak so we were given a twin room in an annexe. This was very comfortable, exceptionally clean with a shower room which had a range of toiletries for us to use. The breakfast was exceptionally good,...

We booked this guest house by reading reviews about it and we were so pleased to have picked it.There is a pub across the road that did evening meals. It was lovely to find somewhere safe to leave the car whilst we were away and to have transport to and from the ferry terminal. I would recommend this guest house...

I stumbled on the trip advisor reviews for The Twin Oaks by accident when I was looking for a hotel near to Southampton Port where we could stay the night and leave the car. The five star reviews caught my eye and fair to say this lovely Guest House deserves the five star ratings it has on Trip Advisor. This...

Very friendly and helpful owners, nothing is too much trouble. Have used them on a number of occasions before joining a cruise, they even look after your car and organise transport to your ship. You don't have to leave early either. Rooms an densities are rather small which is the only downside but if you are staying overnight it's fine....
