Room clean, bed comfortable, shower room well appointed. Visited on a freezing cold day (having prebooked) and the heating was OFF in the room. One small heater- turned it up full but room did not heat up sufficiently to make getting changed to go out again a pleasant

Reception good although public areas are very bleak. Room very nice. No bath but big shower - all looked new although there was rust at bottom of shower door. Had been told on arrival that grill would open at 6 and menu was provided in room. Set off for grill but it was closed -

Standard double room...
We have stayed here many times when visiting family in the area but I wouldn’t consider it a wedding venue unless it was just to accommodate guests who needed to stay over in the area. I would have the place down as more utilitarian...clean, bright, and basic....and sometimes great value for money, although not always. If you mean just for accommodation rather than the ceremony or the photographs then I would say it’s fine with the exception of some of the beds, many of which are just standard doubles with lumpy, and/or bouncy mattresses, not what you expect in most hotels these days. Also I would check that they can deal with a large number of guests as when we visited recently (stayed over Boxing Day night) breakfast, which is usually fine if basic, was chaotic because of the hotel being quite full, they were running out of everything, the drinks dispenser wasn’t dispensing hot water properly, plus there was a pile of dripping wet plates…and burnt sausages. This isn’t usual but I only mention it if you have large numbers of guests involved as you need to ensure there are enough staff to look after you properly.

Towels provided. No coffee maker but there is a kettle, mugs and a limited amount of tea/coffee/sugar and uht milk supplied in the room

Rooms are OK but very typical modern commercial hotel... rather impersonal but good location and car park. I complained about queue at check in and rather moderate breakfast. I said not very express !!! Good luck
