We stayed in the Annex for 5 nights, The room was clean and warm, the bed was very comfortable, Breakfast Tea,Coffee was provided in large amounts. A very relaxing stay, with plenty of walks, and not for from Berkhamstead.

Springwell Barn is nestled away down a country lane, close to the Grand Union Canal. I stayed in the annexe room for several nights and thought it was gorgeous. The room was huge - much bigger than you'd find in a similarly-priced hotel. There's a very comfortable bed, sofa, wardrobe, kitchenette, en suite shower room and lovely extras such as...

I stayed numerous times over the course of 9-10 months while away during the week with work and loved the place. Extremely comfortable bed, quiet, good shower and excellent breakfast. Also good for a canal toe path run if you get the chance! I hope to stay again and guarantee if you do, you will not be disappointed!

Its a wonderful relaxing place, spacious and such a welcome from hotel rooms. Spent 3 nights here on business. Stayed in the annex as it gave me the option to cook my own meals at night. The room is lovely and spacious, so much better than a cramped hotel room. The food is delicious, the hosts are truly wonderful, friendly...

The Springwell Barn is a lovely, historic, friendly, and well-maintained B&B close to London, but far enough away to feel like it's no where near the city. Justine is the perfect host, and will feed you lovely food until you are completely satisfied and ready for your day. The room was clean and well-appointed, and the historic barn is a...

Stayed overnight for work and wished I could have spent longer there so will come back for a weekend with my family. Really comfortable, all mod cons and really helpful and friendly hosts. Beautiful location and delicious breakfast.

My sister and I booked Springwell Barn last minute due to change of plans - a very fortunate break for us. It isn't the easiest place to find in the dark but well worth the trouble. Justine who runs the B&B is absolutely fabulous- very welcoming and the accommodation was just so lovely. There are lots of nice thoughtful touches...

Fabulous, somewhat bohemian barn conversion with the cosiest bed and fluffiest towels. The host was very friendly and service was impeccable. Highly recommended. Note - when driving to the barn take care not to stop off at Springwell Farm, a mile or so prior to Springwell Barn, on the same road.

Stayed just one night as we were at a garden party locally. Absolutely perfect so incredibly relaxed serene and tranquil. Continental breakfast with home made jams and fresh coffee. The owners are so helpful and kind we will definitely be back.

Fantastic room. We stayed in the annex. Very clean and well equipped and relaxed hosts. Lovely walks along the canal with plenty of wildlife Rather difficult to find at night with the sat nav. Would recommend downloading the directions from the website. Access is a little tight if the neighbours block the access road off at the top of the...
