I was visiting Cornwall for 3 days and chose Trehellas to stay - so glad I did! it is an atmospheric building set in a lovely location with accommodation spread between the hotel/restaurant and further cottages - I stayed in Lanhydrock. The room was lovely and spacious, very clean and warm, the bathroom was large and clean with a good... More

Nice and friendly staff. Very good food. (Venison was lovely) Clean and tidy, however, my room was a little on the small side. Adequate for one nights stay.. Have booked again for one night, but asked for another room, even though its only for one night.

Our third visit to this family run hotel offering amazing food complimented by the finest Camel Valley wine. The restaurant is clearly enjoyed by locals with gatherings for dinner both nights. The staff looked after us superbly and chef cooked wonderful food. We have stayed in the main house and in the annexe, a few metres away. Both options are... More

We stayed in the Fowey room, this is in the garden of the main hotel. Would have preferred to stay in the main hotel (just our preference). The breakfast was well cooked and served in the conservatory, very pleasant. They have a restaraunt and serve drinks on request. We had our meals in various establishments in Bodmin. Overall a pleasant... More

Trehellas house is beautiful, looks very cosy and country from the outside and we really liked the look of it. We arrived and there is ample space to park which is free with a nice view of a big field and autumn leaves which I thought looked pretty. We walked into the reception nice décor and was welcomed by a... More

Arrived to be welcomed and shown to our room by Shannon who was on duty throughout most of our two night stay. Our room was comfy though very cold on arrival , took a while to heat up when radiator turned up but ok thereafter.I asked for some ice for a sore knee which was brought promptly and much appreciated.... Having read some of the other reviews, I'm genuinely surprised at the negative ones as my stay had been fantastic. Having spent all day at the show ground, the hotel was perfectly located and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived. I was in the Fowey room which isn't in the main house but it was perfectly acceptable and more... More

This is the 5th time I have stayed at Trehellas, and once again it did not disappoint. The staff, as always and friendly and welcoming. The rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well cooked, great selection and very tasty. I have still yet to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked very appetising. For value for money, I do... More

This is a very old building, full of character. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The staff were all very friendly and the chef, Simon, is a marvel. Every meal was beautifully cooked and well-presented and the menu varied so there was plenty to choose from. There seemed to be a lot of local... More
