What a find, we went on the weekend of Storm Angus and whilst we had some reprieve with the weather and were able to walk along the coast path in different locations, we also thoroughly enjoyed sitting next to the open log fire with a drink. This hotel is in a small village / hamlet located on the harbour and...

We returned for another December visit as we have several times before. This has been, and remains, one of our favourite hotels to stay in. The location is fantastic, the atmosphere superb and the staff attentive and eager to please. However it has been taken over by Bespoke and it really does need to ensure that it keeps its eye...

Portloe is a small village right on the coast ,so follow sat nav for best result ,the hotel is right on the slipway so you have a great view of the sea and coast line, the food we found to be ok but very small portions and really overpriced,a little dissapointed that I had to explain to a member of staff...

This is a great place to escape to out of season if you want to enjoy great food and wine, some amazing walks, and an idyllic Cornish fishing village. This little gem is situated at the top of the slipway and the restaurant has amazing views out to sea. There is a cosy lounge with a log fire. We found...

We only found this hotel through Secret Escapes and so glad we did. The hotel is located in a small village and we wouldn't of found it by chance. Our room exceeded our expectation, however, a strange smell in the bathroom which reminded me of hospital toilets. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well. We were...

Stayed for a couple of nights in dog friendly room ( which was a bonus )... sideways view of the bay. Good sized room with bath and good facilities and wifi - but the smallest telly I ever seen. We dined in the restaurant on the first evening and food was freshly prepared and excellent...restaurant overlooks the pretty little bay...

Beautiful little hotel in Portloe, beautiful location in a very small village. Bespoke hotel, fine food, great service and beautiful views from restaurant and most of bedrooms. Ideal for a romantic getaway. Two lovely terraces for pre dinner or after dinner drinks! Heaven! Loved the decor in our room, nautical theme. We stayed in Boathouse section of hotel, but we're not...

Our 4th visit here, but a disappointment. Our room was a tiny cottage with a stunning view, however weather was awful and we were really cut off. Had to go out in blustery rain to get to Restauant. In all the rooms we've stayed in previously there's been a turn down service whilst we've been out at dinner, providing a...

Having been much travelled, I have to say as a UK holiday destination you don't get better than this. The hotel is in a stunning location. The staff are professional and hard working.
