Check in was great, Stoica was very nice and polite. Booked us breakfast when we wanted it, told us where everything was. Room was clean and tidy, rang for extra pillows but called restaurant lol 😂 Pillows came quickly. Enjoyed super meal at the Gurkhas restaurant! Really was great, nice quiet relaxed. Leon was lovely waiter. View over countryside was...

Easy to find, ample parking, attached Indian restaurant smelt amazing (we ate elsewhere as staying overnight for a function), lovely warm welcome on arrival by the two ladies on reception, one of whom I think was the manager. It's a former Travelodge and much of their fixtures and fittings remain, but there were hairdryers in the bedroom and bathroom, comfy...

The lady on reception was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well presented with comfortable beds. The restaurant next door provided an excellent Indian meal which was very good value. I'm not sure why some reviews give a different impression, but I'd be happy to stay here again. My only quibble is that, unusually, full payment is taken...

Lots of our friends and family booked this hotel whilst attending our wedding. They were charged more on check in so they could check in a little early, even though the rooms were ready... They were fully booked with our guests so surely had made enough money without adding extra costs!! The next morning at breakfast the man serving the...

Staff were very polite welcoming, and apologetic for lack of WiFi being offline due to recent storm. Was back on the next morning! Can't fault them at all for that problem. Honestly can't find anything to fault with stay and our experience with this hotel. All expectations were met, and more! :)

Judging by the reviews I didn't know what to expect but it was clean, fresh, spacious and had branded tea and coffee facilities. I had a great night sleep and would definitely stay again . Well worth the price and the breakfast was lovely.

Rude staff member on reception. I called the day before & told wrong check in time so, eyes rolled at us & charged £15.00 extra for early check in. Told to call own taxi & said 'you must be joking!' When asked for taxi in the morning! No food available around lunch. Room clean& basic. Nice lady on reception shame...

When we booked into the hotel, it was going to be fit for purpose, a simple overnight room before attending a wedding, the lady on reception was lovely and the room acceptable although the beds were very uncomfortable and pitched at an angle. The shock came at breakfast with the rudest man I have ever encountered in hospitality not offering...

Stayed for two nights for a nearby wedding. First impressions weren't good as we checked in at about 10.30 pm and immediately had to decide about breakfast - what time, full English or 'continental' and then had to pay in advance! I had assumed that the £75.00 per night room charge included breakfast but it was an additional £7.95 for...
